I've notice most items that people look for are rarely being made to sell on the market. Mainly because the item is not worth making/put in the time in return for silver. So instead of a massive overhaul which people are thinking when I say Economy. Why not have it to where if there are tons of orders at the highest price. Develop a system to where the prices will increase automatically by 5% after maintenance and remove price cap on items; espeically if there are huge amounts of orders at max price? (1000+)
Example
Cannonballs you make three at a time for around 270k silver (current orders 5960)
Mats to make cannonballs:
8x herbal gunpowder 81.5k each (652k silver) (current orders 1989)
10x melted iron 7,250 (72.5k)
5x powder of flame 6k (30k)
10 black stone powder 4.5k (45k) (orders 9k)
Total cost to make 799.5k
This means you are at a net loss for making Cannonballs by 529k. Now for Cannonballs it could just be a war sink cost which is fine; however there are plenty of other items that also suffer so no one makes them on the market. I think a simple 5% increase until the orders start to level would make things worth doing over time. (same vise versa if tons are on the market and no one is buying.)
Another exmaple..
Logs (400k+ orders) max price capped at 9,800.
1. This game has no economy.
2. It's the sick 35% tax that kills trade.
3. Increasing the maximum prices is the stupidest possible solution. We've already done it, for example, with meat. We had a million preorders and now we have 5 million meat no one wants to buy. And no one will buy it because the price of the materials is higher than the final item.
These are the consequences of the reckless actions of Pearl Abyss which wanted to give more profit to gathering but at the same time did not increase the value of imperial boxes.

of course this game has an economy every game does:P and its only taxed that high without a vp, which you get for 1k loyals which is 1 every 5 days and you only need the vp to just collect the income once again, wrong wrong wrong maybe stop going on forums please and thank you

It's 15%. And that's why VP is such a p2w (reduces tax by more than 50%). 35% market tax is the main reason why most players don't sell anything. Recently there was an event: 3 weeks VP, market was full of items, today it's empty again. Average player collects items for months and then sells them all at once, collecting the profit with 1 day VP.

wrong again, tax's only matter when you collect the income, so people sell stuff all the time and they just dont collect on it

Do you have any knowledge of this game or did you buy an account?
If you put an item up for sale and it sells, you can't list the next one, you have to collect money first.
