as a pvp and lifeskiller.....I think I never even got attacked once while doing lifeskills (beside getting shot down while bartering but that was an war enemy).

I don't have anything against this system if a way could be found to pull mobs with it on an fucking somebody's grindrotation with it. Maybe only usable with lifeskill cloths equipped?

agreed not even sure why forced pvp exists in this game when all it does is create toxicity, Most mmos with PvP have toggle PvP or PvP only realms with other realms being PvE I will never understand why Black Desert has forced PvP when all it does is ruin players experience

An even easier solution is just removing the limitations and lockouts on the Olvia servers allowing everyone to access it and suddenly everything people complain about for being griefed is solved

I haven't had issues myself (recently) although I can imagine some people involved in wars could encounter this issue even outside their main servers but still, makes you wonder what happened. Griefing was once synonymous with "BDO". If someone heard that game, they'd think griefing. But over the years, that died down to the point that it's pretty rare except during events where AFK fishers get blasted at a coast or something like that.

These past few months it's been even less than usual. Like, has the community become more docile as a whole? Looking around the attitude in the forums it would seem so but in-game it seems the worse we ever see are end-boss spawn attacks which there's another thread dedicated to a great solution for it.

I guess there isn't much of a problem anymore regarding griefing so this topic might just have become moot. However, I'd like to ecourage people to come up with solutions to the horse training issue where everyone is forced to train in town and make their own thread about it. I'll keep this thread alive just in case people want to continue talking about it but I think it's really a non-issue these days. Can't speak about bartering, haven't done it in many months but bartering was an issue 6 months ago.

Some ideas that might be good:

1. Marni's Treadmill

2. Shield on horse auto path (repeat), cooldown of 30 seconds.

3. Instanced training track near the horse ranch

Though if griefing becomes an issue I'll remake this thread in the future. :)

the griefing and toxicity is alive and well at least when it comes to ocean content when you check out the sailing discord server lol. In general the game is just extremely dead compared to a year ago.
