Seems long overdue, Its a shame rn that being a guild master locks you out of an entire piece of pretty fun content in the game. There must be a way to allow it. Maybe the possibility to elect 1-2 back-up GMs from your member list that will temporarily hold the title while you are merced, just a off the top of the head suggestion im sure there's better ways.

yeah not having the gm allowed to merc sucks, i know a heap who use a spare account as the gm account coz of this, just let them run free and wild!

Why even need any alternative of backup GM or anything else? I mean...cmon...guild can survive without GM for 2 hours.
