Although the OP (MarylandManson) never made a thread requesting for this feature to be completed so I'll do it in their stead.

Presently, the node investment feature does nothing. You can invest energy into a node or worker node and hypothetically it should increase drop rate % or improve worker output (or something) but it doesn't. This feature has long been full of myths and legends but we know the stats behind it, it changes nothing. I would like to request this feature to be completed. It was made available during the open beta and since it does nothing, it is confusing to the player and does not give any reward for the energy that is placed in. The investment description says it does something but it doesn't. Maybe it could also have a bit of rework so that it benefits players more because energy is precious and there is no noticeable impact at the very least. People over the years have worked through parses and didn't noticed any drop rate difference so what's the official story behind this function? Works or doesn't work? If it works can it be improved? If it doesn't work can it be made to work as it should?

Zero drop + 50% drop for only 1 per 10 mob = still zero drop. So the lvl node effect  is imperceptible anyway.

Also why people ask about gathering and node production? After all, the game clearly informs that the lvl node applies only to mob drops (and amits for some nodes).

Dude stop taking all forum posts off topic.  Before you even started the system was meant to affect drop amount from workers from what a developer said and iirc what was data mined. It was never finished we have the remanents of it still.

I agree i have tried level 10 on all different nodes an can confirms its not working as what was  told to us years ago. I really hope they do fix it or implement it completely. I have started to wonder if the game engine limitations were showing back then hence why it was never finished in the first place :(

I have leveled up so many nodes, and yeah, nothing happened.  It would be nice to get a return on the investment of so much energy.  It's a nice way to use energy from characters too far from the few NPC's that can exchange energy.

So yeah, let's get on this, PA!  Get a couple programmers on this!  (Shouldn't need THAT many.)

The more finished, complete, and amzing this game is, the more players you will keep.  The more players you keep will attract more new players.  The more new players you get will bring in more cash.  Spend green to make green.  The ultimate law of business.

Thanks for an already great game!  Let's make it greater!

I often invest energy into production node,  because I prefer to do that over parking all my alts in Velia and getting  a massive amount of energy potions, that I would'nt have the time to use anyway.  Why allow us to invest into production node, if it does nothing at the end, especially when investing into main node has effect ?

For players that have invest a lot of contribution and energy in their worker empire this would be a great improvement.  Even a small buff like 1 % on the base resource per level would already be something. 

Current situation is confusing due to the quest in game, that teach players how to invest in node, or rather waste their energy into them. Instead make it have a real effect and communicate clearly on the topic, so everybody will be able to choose wisely how they want to invest their energy.

I wasnt talking to you directly about your feelings no one cares what your feelings are about and what you care about. I was talking about what has been said by devs and what was datamined. You think you know what youre talking about you really have zero clue about anything in BDO

Edit : Also Devs and GMs know more about the game then you ever will.

I think there may be a misunderstanding here.

The node investment level description does not reflect the reality. It was implemented before the system could be completed and there are various features in the game that were left incomplete. This would be one of them. This feature was datamined and crowd-parsed (is that how you say it?) and under both conditions it was found that there are no difference when you invest in a node.

Regardless if it's implemented or not, I'm proposing that the system is further improved. Perhaps if it does work, it should be enhanced so the player can actually notice a difference.  If there's a 10% chance (1 in 10 enemies) that the drop rate increases by 50%, then perhaps it should be changed to 25% item drop rate increase, 100% of the time.

Basically, whatever PA decides is fine but we'd like to have definitve (noticeable) perks for investing in nodes, towns and sub-nodes. Perhaps the invements could also remain in the node for the next time you invest in it after you withdraw your contribution. The issue is that the CP cap is too low and you have to juggle through your investments, reroute things etc... But if you spend 10,000 energy in a single node or w/e it is, you are getting severely punished for withdrawing.

This also ties in with workers 2.0 if they are working on this so it can get pretty deeply complex if they are.

I would love to suggest them not having a cap to CP with it being easier to obtain because I'd be playing a lot more to earn more CP etc.. but I already created like 4 feedback threads this past week so maybe some other day lol But when that time comes I'll try to propose a worker 2.0 idea. Need to think about it deeply too.
