Title: Make player-to-player trading actually useful.
Family Name: Yorivel
Region (NA/EU): EU
The tricky part here is how to avoid botting because as good as EAC is in preventing legitimate players from using injected shaders or whatever, it doesn't do a great job at preventing botting. BDO has no P2P trading so botting is kept to a minimal. I'm sure there's botting to some degree, maybe to level characters to later sell to people but the lack of P2P trading aspect is one of this game's good points for this reason.
I do think that some items should be tradeable and I've seen someone mention that a cap of 50mil silver per week in trades or something in that range should be added if P2P were to exist. Basically it means you can trade most potions, mount feed, etc... which is beneficial for players without promoting botting since something as low as 50mil (or even less) of equivalent goods per week would be too low to even make P2P botting viable. Players who continuously trade the max or near the max could easily be flagged for review by GMs against botting behavior, maybe?
As for what items you could trade, I don't know. I'm not sure if trading treasure items is a good idea but on one hand it could encourage party grinds at treasure locations with friends. For now, I'm neither for or against this idea but interested if there's a viable way to prevent botting and keeping the CM pre-orders fulfilled. There's already a lot of PO on the CM that has months worth of waitlists after all.
Also for fun: (actual) Robot beats captcha. Now imagine if p2p trading happened without limits. xD

lol name checks out and the cheeky reply does highlight the main issue of the request. In a perfect world, yes, this would be fine. Unfortunately, there is no way for PA to allow this without resulting in botting and RMT. I'm sure people already break TOS for items such as the compass.
Perhaps if there was a lengthy quest associated with it, such as the one for the garmoth heart that instead of allowing you to create the item, it let you trade it. The key here is to make it so that you would need to invest an unreasonable amount of time that would entirely deter RMT and bots such as the garmoth heart quest or nouverikant armor quest.

well, you instead pay for a pilot, it just takes longer for the customer
There are a lot of generous players, and the guild system isn't so generous, so if there could be limited trading, it would be very helpful. 50 million silver per week seems fair, or one item up to that cost. I doubt that would break the game.
i wish so much we can trade nearly everything in this game. mostly everything that we can sell in the market, but yea, that would break the game in some way. but a sandbox mmorpg without player-to-player trading: that cuts off the half of the social interactions. maybe the reason why BDO is one of the few Sandbox mmorpg that survived? i dont know.
just ban ppl for RMT and exploits like other mmorpg´s. i know that have its own problem but for me its the price i would pay for more meaningfull social interactions. call me crazy.
