Anyone got a comparison to BDO and GW2? Looking at the classes and combat in the vids, it looks very similar.
I was a very early adopter of GW2, and when they started cracking down on the player-run events it really made the game suck.

They are like two egg... from different type of birds...
Go try it though, it's free.
But by my observeration you have 90% chance to uninstall it within a week, but you still have 10% chance to suffer on the long run...

Oof, if you like GW2. You will absolutely hate BDO. BDO is the polar opposite of GW2. Close to everything in this game is a massive stat check, PvP included. Effort over here most time is not reward close to as much as simple P2W or dumb luck is. Crafting over here is bottom tier where as in GW2 you had to craft the best in slot gear for yourself. However if you hate GW2 on a mechanical level. Then you will more than likely love BDO.

Look like someone isn't aware of the time rewarding 100% upgrade chance free of charge market feature.
On top of missing the fact that current BDO BiS gear is actually produced from crafting.
But let's not get the facts in the way of your hate narrative.

Yes they are absolutely quite different in many ways, but that certainly doesn't mean you cannot enjoy both. What you've said about both games I think is a bit disingenuous, but I won't go into that.
What I can say with complete authority is that I have played both significantly, and enjoy both, not for their similiarities but for their differences.
'Variety is the Spice of Life' after all, or so they say.
