I think they mean they will place them in the warehouse so as to not fill up your Heidel storage. You will not lose them unless a big booboo is made. 

I really tried to make presents for the 12 characters I regularly play and am very unsatisfied with this five presents for all characters system.
Four or five of my characters can't be outfitted with those crystals I want them to use because there are only five presents in total.
What did I even create and outfit (incl. pearlshop stuff) those characters for?

This new crystal UI would have been a good system if it was - as originally intended (stated by devs) - character-based. Multiple presents per character would have been great improvement but family-based this is just a huge limitation if you have a lot of characters.

Please, @PA at least add a sixth character-specific present. :/

I would also want like 10 maybe?

want at least 2 different DP PvP Versions

2 AP PvP Versions

and would like 2 PvE Version and at least 1 more lifeskills

Hopefully they can get this fixed by next patch.

5 presets for 29 character slots, that's explain alot why game so Fed.

Someone has to come up with idea, someone had to aprove it, someone had to develope it, someone have test it. Noone of those "someone" have knowledge of the game.

I have 3 "main" characters,  main  use 3 pre sets, second use 1 preset, lifeskill character using 1 slot. How can i use crystals for my other 25 characters ?

I'd like to apologize, after quick thinking and testing i think  i need like 10 slots only for main character.

I can't even combine crystals I had inside my gear before with this new system. 
Who signed off on this?

I have 25 purpose built characters with various armors, weapons and individual uses. 

I'm once again expected to start over putting everything back together after some half cocked concept completely altering my player experience on a game that I've invested more money into than all other games I've played combined. 

Why do you folks find it necessary to continue resetting the entire player experience over and over?

Please in the future allow players to opt out of these reset updates that continue to force people to spend hours fixing your forced undoing of months and years of effort.  

Character-specific preset slot: agreed.  Along with per-character crystal inventory to match (in addition to the family wide inventory).  It's not just the individualized set up that went missing, it's also the net implicit inventory amount that decreased, and sharing of crystals that are not meant to be shared.

I fully agree. Now one cannot use crystals together which were always used together before, while crystals never meant to be used together now can be and the absurdly low number of crystals in the inventory.

It is ridiculous really - I cannot outfit characters with crystal setups I have used for years, especially on worldboss alts. Also the grouping of crystals and the limitation which derive from it does not make any sense at all and is overly complicated.
