I dont complain i gave my feedback wich is subjective. My friend uninstalled and is lost as potential customer, he didnt see anyhting of the game and got the wrong impression what bdo is. Im sure he would have liked the sandbox the grind and the progression but he didnt made it trough the tutorial wich is nothing like the real game that comes after.

If that feedback is helpful or not is not for me to decide, maybe im biased and sad my friend wont play with me. As a fact another player didnt made it and a less story intense first player expirience would probably have made a difference. Thats all im saying

A perfect tutorial would have been , welcome to season server those are the mats you need to  grind and these are the goals you need to reach for graduation now go and grind. That coupled with short questlines at certain progress points would have been so much better than overloading a new players head with too much info 

Eternal Winter isnt even the new starter area.
I mean, literally says "Recommended for Veterans", and you still go for that option i mean... 

A player who is not able to read the basic informations about the very first choices is supposed to be a potential customer for a MMORPG like BDO?

The regular starting point is exactly what you expect it to be : a story with a good learning curve.

At some point, BDO will look overwhelming to the great majority of new players, because it IS overwhelming... But not at the moment you mention. If, at the first choice, you choose the veteran way, OBVIOUSLY, it will look more complicated. And it is clearly stated. 

This is clearly a DU problem as you did not read the clear notice that it is for veteran players.

It's not intended for new players. And it's even written in the description as far as I remember.
