The recent changes to guild payouts have not been a help to GM's it only increases the headache of doing payouts. A simple system would of been to allow GM's to pay the people that contribute nothing - nothing and more flexibility to pay bonus payouts to those that go above and beyond.

What you have done by adding a points based system is allowed people to place a ticket which then needs to be approved by the GM/Secretary.. if for instance you award 10 points for completion of a guild mission but 3 people jump in on that guild mission eg. XL x1000 Water Mission... Person A collects x800 - Person B - x150 - Person C x50 and this happens multiple times, you may feel as a GM it doesn't warrant payment of the full points to Person C but the member does so all it does is cause altercations between GM's and members. 

We still need to keep a record of who does what seperately to ensure that the incoming requests are legitimate and so you can ensure a fair payout to all involved. 

Say you want to set a catagory for Guild Drills.. well if Person A puts in x2000 blackstones and x20 tears and Person B adds x1 blackstone.. again as a GM you want to be able to reward the ones who contribute more than those who contribute less. You can't put both of these people in the same catagory and award them the same points. 

Also you've given no information on what happens to the points once a payout has been made, do they get set back to zero? Do they get carried forward? 

Fully agree, this new system is hopeless, for everyone involved. 
The guild member needs to foward a ticket, daily. If he or she forgets, no points are awarded.
I need to check the tickets, approve them or dismiss them. Thus creating more problems that should not be there. 
Something that could have been so simple has been turned into a freeking nightmare. 
Do away with the ticket system, let the points automaticaly be gained as is and reset after every pay out and voila, everybody is happy.
It really can't be that hard. 

An automatic system where GMs could set payouts for cetain points thresholds would be convenient.  This current new system is just a bureaucratic mess.
