As of right now, it takes ages to get this pet, once acquired it seems rather useless.

PA could make this pet T3/T4 right from the start, or atleast give it an attribute that is useful for farming, for example:

just like hedgehog does for gathering, make the mole pet do something for farming (multiple crops, more harvested materials,more byproducts,...)

Or let every mole have a chance of spawning the pit-a-pet mole instead of only the Giant mole, so we have a realistic chance of making a T3/T4 of our own.

But it think its was yet another PA employee who just wanted to leave his mark in the game b4 he leaves.

The problem with the mole from the start is the probability. 
 got 1 petal since start, doing 2 crops a day for 10 master fences. i almost always get a mole on each batch of crops. So it feels right on the spawns. But one petal in all that time? really?
And i see people flexing it in chats... not even activating it :/ 
feels wrong; players are not rewarded. Pure rng and frustration.

I don't have it, but i am all in to buffing to be a t4 farming hedgehog.  If you need to win the lottery several times just to get it, might as well be useful.
