Since day 1 years back i was intrigued by Warrior in BDO.
I played both male and female classes.
I was satisfied with Warrior Dark Knight and Nova, the playstyles unique as well as the concept and story/ art.
What i always wanted to see though was a Male Shadow Knight think of a Nova Equivalent with different styles depending on Awakening or Succesion. Such as Sword and Magic and Mace or Flail and Shield.
For the Shadow Knight there's already content that can be expanded upon. Belmorn and Jordine the Shadow Knights and Odylitta relations maybe Kzarka and even Stars End.
Even Blackstar could become a bit friendlier (Failchance and Durability) as a Boss Gear Equivalent to access Fallen God with the difference to not be tied to Gear Exchange and Free Gear giveaways. But Quest Story Exploration and Combat instead and make it so to serve the Shadow Knight for example or classes for which Blackstar ties well with their Concept Art. Obviously Player choice though.
However this is almost off topic so i wont add more.
Alternatively we could have these classes not gender specific but there are Female Equivalents already so it depends.
Kind of what I thought after seeing Jordine in the mountain quest line. Also, continuation of Ody and related lore would be interesting; as it's pretty much the most lore-rich line.
do you understand what a hero-class system is you useless waste of air?
And releasing "twin" classes and being BOTH FEMALE is just a joke itself. After so many female only classes in a row. They couldnt even bother to make it brother and sister
More female please.
I understand that you guys are a business and it's smart business practice to keep on releasing female classes cuz they sell too well.
Maybe this is part of the problem. Why do so many of you dumb boys want to play dress-up so badly? Just stop buying into the stupid female characters. You are not going to get laid by your character. Do you seriously stare at your character all day long and must be constantly aroused or something? Man, I hate people.
Wizard gaming
I want a Dark Knight/Dark Elf/Vampire with long sword or dual swords and dark magic/effects on skills!
Nice to see someone fighting the good fight. I thought for sure things where looking up whene Archer & Hash came out (Now my two favorite classes), but no dice. Personally I'd be fine with a 2F to 1M ratio. Not overall, just from now on. Especially sense they have managed to make female characters I enjoy playing (Drakania). I'd still love to see another male support class (Right now Wizard is your only option if you want to buff allies while being a dude) but I don't think Pearl Abyss want's to touch support with a 10ft pole ever again.
The Shadow Knight idea does make a lot of sense I was thinking about it myself playing thru the main story recently. It's not my thing, but a Shadow Knight could work if he was ousted from or betrayed by his order. They could also make him a broody emo boy to appeal to the female audiance, which they prefer to do with their newer male desighns.
I'm not sure if there is any room for a while new Elionian Knight Order, so if they ever did a more Paladin/Cleric style male character, he'd likely need to be a Priest gone rogue. Which looking at what Elionianism clearly teaches, and what it's Church is like, yeah, historically that sort of stuff is a hotbed for Priests to go mavric. So it makes a lot of sense... But that feels like wishfull thinking on my part, as I doupt we'd see that anytime soon.
A male Shai, or Dwarf could be a solid option for a new male character as well. Mobile got a rendition of Wu Kong not too long ago too, but I think that was China specific... I am also still woundering what happened to that Rhuttum character we got teased with years back. They did say that one was just an idea.
Thing is Pearl see's their analytic & profits and we don't. The financial gains between the two might be astronomical (I have seen wha tthe power of horny does to some men) and I cannot fault peral fro the chocies they have made. Even if I don't like them. It's up to us if they do make a cool male character to support them, and show them there is still a market in male characters.
