But casuals dont want to grind, you cant hand over pen stuff 4 free and expect them to grind 6months for 3ap!
The season into guaranteed pen stuff is a good idea, but if a new player wants to, he will get pen weapons and pen cres ring faster by just grinding.

ok after 10 days of playing in 2023 season i realized the p2w isnt as bad anymore so thats a good change
can buy full t4 pets from market just takes time. can buy costumes too and all that pretty easily with some patience.
its still annoying because if you want to be efficient you have to spend 50€+ for tent and horseflute and thats still acceptable but valuepack and kama is really useful and it cost like 40€a month to upkeep them thats too much still.
other thing is catchup mechanic is good and needed for new players to circle every few months but too much catchup mechanic is unhealthy for the old playerbase.

I don't think i have to explain this. It is totally P2W and F2P players have to suffer to manually loot on high density grind spots for a very long time until they can achieve enough T4 pets from rewards/market.
They could solve this problem easily if you could convert pearl items back into pearls. So if I buy an outfit from central market I could then convert it back into pearls and buy whatever I wanted. PA still makes money and doesn't lose a cent and those items they want to keep exclusively sold for a short time still remain that way.
This is something that has been needed for quite awhile.

PA said multiple time before, they want you to spend money, that's why this wont happen.

You make some good arguments, the rng system in this game is suicidal,well nearly. Something needs to be done about rng.
Another factor about rng is that i've seen guys in our guild leave the game for a while because they got really upset.
Will PA do anything about this? I highly doubt it.

The gate keeping people do over catch-up mechanics is ridiculous.
You are not being disrespected by the developer just because they add them. They are trying to maintain and increase the player counts and drive sales of their game. Which is the best thing they can do for veteran players as without it the revenue dries up for the game = less content.
Seasons and Jetina gear have been around for a few years now and complaining about is the definition of a broken record
