The game wasn't designed with a Succession Spec in mind, but it was for awakening, which is why awakening weapons have more AP as it was the premiere damage "stance" in the game.

Awakening players have far more gear options later in the game where they do not have to worry about giving up AP brackets as nearly as much as succession players do. So please bring them inline with one another so that players have more options with their accessory builds when playing Succession.

The AP mainhand weapon already gives more AP, what you even mean? If you need AP stop using the accuracy weapon...

The difference effectively grants awakening 2 more sheet ap over the main hand version + accuracy is a stat you can only get in most cases by sacrificing AP elsewhere. So "quit using the accuracy weapon" isn't a good solution

It IS the solution. Or you should first ask them to make mainhand accuracy same as the awa one :)

Pretty sure you still get the 30% AP from Awakening even if you are succession.

It's a concern especially because of the AP caps they added
It is much easier to reach these in awakening than in succession
5 years ago, as the op said, awakening was an upgrade of basic skills, the gain in AP was justified
Today with the succession it's two very distinct game modes
There is no longer any reason to have 2 more AP in awakening (or 2 less AP in succession)

The same weapons should give the same AP. To increase the attractiveness of bs PA increased their AP but it affected the disproportion between main AP and ava AP:

This AP affects AP bracket, and with high AP, even 2 AP gives us a higher bracket in the ava, and the main stays in the lower one (eg. 283 AP vs 285 ava AP, this is 6 AP bracket loss for main skills).
While for most classes this may not be a problem, remember that Archer can use main and ava skills at the same time, so main skills are weaker at that moment (and they are still weaker than ava ones).

Mainhand currently has zero reform upgrades

Offin Tett's Heart could be a reform stone for main hand to give +2 sheet AP.
