I feel like they would also need to do something with how the buffs look on the buff bar, because as it stands, running elixirs plus smaller non-cron meals looks like an absolute mess.

I really like the idea of adjusting the way we can consume smaller meals and not forcing Cron meals if we want convenience. I'd like to run different meals when I hunt, but I just end up using a Cron because I don't want to wait 1 1/2 hrs to buff beforehand while I'm doing something else that doesn't need those stats.

This would also put some of the more obscure meals in demand on the market, instead of them just being just for Imperials or market fodder.

ye this is also a big problem. If u dare to grind for 1h u need to wait around 30min to get rid of the buff to start ur food rotation. Its a mess. It makes preparing for PvP so much harder, and that was the reason they gave us crons after all, to make is more simple

That was something I expected when they announced cron meals (yeah, I'm an old player, I know!). 

But for sure, if they could allow us to prepare our own cron meals, and even our own draughts, it would be perfect. 

Not to detract from the feedback idea, but Calpheon only adds a minor 5 hp regen.

Option 3. 10s CD on food with 30 minute Health XP CD debuff (like Cron Meal has now) for all foods and add a "palate cleanser" item that removes "more powerful" buffs like cron meals so you can buff with other items.
