I'll make it short and sweet the arch map doesnt reach far enough in certain areas of the game.

As an example today i used my arch map and was in Ahrmo Sea fishing and I used my map the closest location to Calph I can TP to is northen wheat plantation (800 meters from the trader in Calpheon) whereas the trader at northern wheat plantation was around 30-40 meters away after i teleported. 

when you really think about it, it really doesnt make much sense to keep it this way ppl spend 200h (me) getting an arch map to then at a later date i still need to run 800 meters to get to my destination. It almost feels like "what was the point in getting a 2nd map for my fisher if i still have to spend 2 minutes running to a trader"

Arch map is supposed to be a luxury item and at this point it doesnt really feel all too special.

So i ask please do something with the map and make it so it can TP people to main towns where fish CAN be sold. 

Or

Make it so fish can once again be sold at nodes so people with arch maps can actually feel useful again.

Correction: This trading rework is horrible for EVERYONE. I have yet to see a single positive aspect or redeeming quality. With so many other lifeskills affected and new issues popping up by the hour, I can't help but wonder if this patch was tested in any capacity. Oversight after oversight after oversight.

that's a fair point i've also been hearing a lot of issues. and all of them seem like oversights 

I feel that all they need to do was make the prices more relevant, not create a new, intricate system that makes it much harder for everyone to do as a whole.  Now, all we will have is some hard-core, I-only-play-this-game-to-trade players reaping any kind of benefit, and the rest of us have to lug trade items from lifeskilling and combat to the closest town, instead of trade NPC.  Now I'm going to end up deleting more junk trade items, since there are fewer NPCs.  Also, my fishing spots will have to be closer to towns.  So much for exploring the world.  So much for interacting with many more NPC's and feeling like this world is alive.

Almost every change is past year and a half has gimped with game in some respect.  I wish they would just stop.

now they make trading even harder than sailing with new system if people doesnt have trash crate army workers .  No way they llv up that profesion  with active trading becouse price ping pong form -50% up to 300% and u need some trading disocrd to tell u exactly what moment to buy and sell  becouse who wil put effort to talk with npc for rumors when the price go up .

It's worse for magoria fishing, as mapping takes you to OE which doesn't have a trade manager either. So then you have to hope the ferry is there to take you inland before your 30 minutes expires.

The map could just be changed to always allow you to pick the closest major city.
