Title: Match Requirements for Deves Encyclopedia after Trading Revamp to prior
Family Name: McOink
Region (NA/EU): EU
Through the trading revamp, some items that were formerly used in Deve's Encyclopedia cannot be obtained anymore.
This has heightened requirements for Deve's, because it forces players to get certain items they didnt have to get before, such as Soiled Ogre Ring.
Im suggesting to tune Deve's to match prior options to make it as difficult to fulfill for new, returning and challenge (Playing on a new acc) players as it was for players who have done it before the trading revamp, who were able to use certain trade items to show to Deve.
This could be done eiter through straight-up removing required item amount by one on the pieces of his encyclopedia where trading items could be used, or substituting the trade item slot for another item.
Ty for feedback :)
Most of the players did get their Soiled for Deve's. You have more options for it now. Be that (iirc) higher drop rate from Quint and Muraka or just dropping it from Laytenn during the Ancient Weapons event on season channels. They could, I guess, bring back Troll Poop in WGC, but god knows what that will break again in this already catastrophy called "Trade revamp".
The ones from Quint/Muraka arent usable for Deves sadly. Savage Rifts are removed.
The event one is true but rare.
Players have to grind ogres to get their soiled. In the past if you chose to do this, fine, but in my eyes new or challenge players playing fresh start have it harder now because they have to grind ogres for deves.
Teeechnically, there only was a rather short period of time (less than a year) since soiled ogres were removed as a requirement to complete the log, as before the change, you had to hand in all 4 of the items (it got then reduced to 3).
While I personally prefer it without needing the soiled, new players only have it as hard as those who started early, while the ones in the time span where it wasnt necessary got "spoiled"
