Problems with Kauha : It is a very annoying and almost impossible boss to kill unless you get lucky with the rng behavior of the shield guys on stage 3. Because you     cannot separate them and because they behave differently you end up damaging one more than the other and when that happens that's it, it is over, your options are to abandon and retake the quest or just abandon the daily all together.

Solution : One simple fix would be to remove stage 3 alltogether.

I've been doing Pit for a long time and have found Kauha is very class dependent. On classes with big AOEs, you can melt down the shield guys as they're spawning (they don't have their shield up during their spawn animation) pretty quickly then go to their backs once they have their shields up and kill them. I find that Succ Hash's tornadoes do very well since they're hitting them even when you're not (as they're spawning). If you fail to kill them after their spawn animation classes like Succ Sage's w+rmb helps to hit them in the back, but I have a harder time timing that than Hash.

Alternatively if I mess it up, I tend to bait the Warriors (you move far away they teleport to you) then I damage the shield guys until I'm sure I can kill all of them together.

On the bright side once you hit PEN insignia you won't have to battle Kauha again =)

You'll have to fight another one super class based boss that wipe you out if you fail RNG.

Its still blow my mind how people defend tryhard bosses in pit they've done before (who care tbh what you've done before) when the current pit change supposed to change it to be easier, while PA clearly forgot to remove tryhard bosses.

Kauha/Gotha Rensa is abomination of pit, but well you know, there is always that guy who beat them ( at least he said so w/o any proofs) so you must suffer as well (clearly hes goal to trigger you have nothing to do with your problem or game in general) .

Umm not sure if the tone of this is toxic or not, but I was just giving some suggestions/feedback on how to do/improve the Pit given the OP's post. Given that this is a feedback forum I would hope the developers/CMs/GMs get that some bosses might be too class specific from my post. I apologize, but I don't think any reasonable person would get an I "beat them so you must suffer as well" from what I said, and I agree that that's not a sensible opinion to hold in any regard.

I was trying to contribute to the discussion by saying I don't think Kauha should be deleted, instead its mechanics should be improved to give more classes the possibility of defeating it. The Pit is genuinely one of the things I enjoy the most about BDO currently (excited for boss rush), so I was just giving my two cents...in a feedback forum.

The person was referring to beef they had on another post asking for the boss to be removed entirely. Dont worry about it.

I agree with you though, some of the bosses in this game mode are very class dependent, also when it comes to types of CC available, since some classes only have very limited, if at all, access to specific CC types (eg KD on ninja and shai or float on ranger). It would be a big improvement to consider some of the struggles specific classes face with specific bosses, though most bosses are still doable, if very difficult.

I'm pointing out PA Fed up again, again because they don't know their own content. Both Kauha and Gotha not included into promotion fights, that why they wasn't changed at all, simple because whoever was  tasked to change pit way to get PEN insignia did exactly what he was asked, he only insured promotion fights to be easy, rest of pit he give zero F, complaining about pit goes back to when its started.

So now, just like initial launch of pit we have day 1 - ~7-10minutes for all fights ( depends if you get musa) day 2- impossible.  Just another one PA's F up, just like trading, voodoo dolls and etc. They put effort to change content, but ignored the main problem that caused content to be dead.

Lets  talk about the pain to exchange  coins into cron stone, you have to do 1 by 1, 3 click to select cron rewards, 3 click to open bundle, 33 bundles daily. You wanna know why this part wasn't changed ? Yes you right, because whole patch was only about PEN insignia, not about pit.

So what we have now - after you done PEN insignia  you have zero reasons come to pit anymore - wasted content.

I don't understand, just avoid hitting him and kill all the skeletons.  He is literally one of the easiest bosses to fight in AoS.

I haven't had issues with any of the bosses once I realized that I had to enable tumble wumble. Every boss is pretty easy and Shai is one of the most difficult classes to do them with. What class are you using and what is your GS? For crystals i have knockback / resistance / accuracy for as much as i can. I remember beating the pit of the undying for the first time when I had sub 300 def and around 240 AP (Shai). It was tough but doable as long as you know the mechanics.

I'm not saying it shouldn't be changed, I'm just poking for more information because you never know who will read this thread :)

FYI if you have issues with bosses in the pit of the undying, the LoTML bosses are going to be dark souls to you xD. (though that level of challenge is exciting at least to me) Feel free to ask for more advice if you need it.

As for the rest, some have kinda bullshit mechanics to be honest, but this is also gear dependent.
If you have enough gear, you can absolutely brute force the bosses ignoring the mechanics, if not, then you struggle, this is probably one of the problems.

I'd say Sayazhar (or wutever the name of the striker npc) is more annoying with its cc roulette than Kauha's undead lackeys.
