Hi ! I just write this topic to give my thoughts and ideas about a new possible class and share it with you :)

I am fan of the gunslinger fantasy and gun fu, and the feeling of this game with combat could make an awesome ginslinger i think. I thought about a dual pistol male character being able to switch between range and melee like a sorceress, squishy at melee but having more damage as a result, because you miss less bullets at melee range i guess x)

I could also wield a rifle or canon as an awakening. I also thought about this character being a dwarf, because of canon powder, just an idea. 

Some post on the forum said that the concept of a gunslinger was not planned by the dev because it didnt fit the lore, but with corsair and the rifle with hunter profession i think it could be possible to make a gunslinger in this universe, sort of bounty hunter/pirate.

No more classes. Can't imagine how broken this one would be considering Maegu.

I think of it as a high risk/high reward class, not that damaging at medium range but powerful at melee.

Please no. No more classes. We have more then enough. We need new permanant contents. bring back shadow arean & make AOS(pratice mode) permanant. Fix the game. Balance & work around the exsisting classes.

A gun wielding class idea comes up like every Ball event they hold and every time they shoot it down, saying it doesn't mesh well with the world of black desert. This excuse i can understand because gun tech in the game is at matchlocks, and those are slow and clunky, and to make that work on a class you'd need them to unload more rounds than a modern day assault rifle.

Awakening corsair has a harpoon gun, and skills that let you both shoot and get in for melee.
