Once again, Pearl Abyss amazes with their remarkable ability of not being able to make or design anything that works properly, even the most basic things.
At this point this is some kind of art .... And people still wonder why their new games are still nowhere to be seen or have seemingly suffered silent cancelation ?

Logged in today, left after 5 minutes. Don't have much time to play, but wanted my loyalty anyway.
During those 5 minutes, my screen was CONSTANTLY flashing with fucking calamity anouncements. Probably wome new world boss that died killed by a bunch of people, and teh game thought important to queue each and every notification to make sure I wouldn't miss a single one of those.
So let's make it clear : I don't give a rat's ass about who does what. I don't care at all if some person I have never heard of before and most likely never will again kills a boss I haven't even heard of either. Good for them, better even if they are first, congrats on that, but why should I care ?
Also note that I spent almost as much time posting this as I spent in game, so yeah, this issue is kinda rubbing me the wrong way.

Its not being a snowflake to want to be able to enjoy the game. It covers like 15% of my screen and pops up at random intervals. I cant focus on what I'm doing and when its on the screen I cant SEE what I'm trying to do. Its game breaking, for me.
And its literally announcing a really boring basic game content to everyone - what is the point? Might as well announce to the entire server whenever anyone beats a rift boss or picks up a piece of trash loot, too. Its a garbage notification that means literally nothing to anyone but we have to suffer it, and then be called snowflakes because "you dont mind it that much".
Yeah. The world should know when someone beats Kzarka for the first time, or Red Nose. They're important to the game too, you know. Worth mentioning the first time anyone does it.......... unless it's going to spam ALL the time.....

keep in mind MotML launched months ago in KR and they had the same problem, and PA decided to take no action. PA has made plenty of changes to content based on how it hit in KR, even nerfing classes worldwide because of content they didnt even have yet 😅
So this wasnt just lack of foresight, it was also a lot of not giving a f 😬
it does make for fun reading on the forums at least, for those of us not home yet 😭

OMG please give us a switch to turn the spam off! The flashing of it actually hurts my eyes its so bright on my screen.

Please give us the option to toggle this "off". Its very distracting to have the Calamity spam constantly flashing.
