I think is a bad idea. There are many things involving the main quest. I like to play the main quest with different characters and choose different paths. Also many rewards would be excluded, like the 7 free outfits, the black spirit appearances, knowledge, titles etc. There are many bad things in BDO but the main quest is not a problem. The main quest is one of the few elements from BDO that save you from the mindless moronic hamster on a wheel grind set mind. 

Or even better, learn how to read.
I even said: "The clear solution is to add a button in character creation (just like in season mode) that says something like "activate this funtion if you want to create an alt character, this means you will have to progress your character through pure grind/lifeskill as main/story-questlines will not be available".

I even said that it should be just a option on the quest menu to hide everything you're not interested on doing, but ofc you had to choose the "pLeAsE dOn'T lIstEn tO OP CuZ PerSonAl RanDom BS rEasOns".

Then again, just because a small ammount of people enjoy the infinite press R gameplay doesn't mean we all do, it's about giving options like many people said already, if you like to mindlessly press R and T and that's your gameplay... you do you, but there are players that don't like that, and not having a full quest log with "pending" quests that we already done on several characters would be a cool option for those who don't enjoy the spam R and T keys mindlessly "gameplay"

Yup, or the suggestion Dansleif made earlier, to give us the option on every single character to "rush" main questline if not interested (every single quests related to the MainSQL. But being able to just hide all that quests that I've done hundreds if not thousands of times on my years playing this game, that would be amazing.

As someone returning to BDO after a long time, I left at Sage launch, and before that, I dropped the game at Dark knight (Rose Knight?) I enjoy being able to follow along the story again and the main quest. it was one of the reasons why I stopped with Sage back then, as some of the main questline quests did not show up, and I was missing out on stuff, important mechanic missions that I did not get, due to me completing them on my first toon, that my friend called and was asking me for help with.

I enjoy running the quest as I can follow the story again, and the story is what hooks me to the game right now. I don't mind nor care if I am over-leveled for the mission; I love the sarcastic 'memories' my little black blob is telling me.

If you've done the main quest once, you don't have to do it again, unless you're trying to complete all the crossroads for knowledge. In which case, it's like 2 times for some of them. If you don't want to do any quests, perhaps just don't do them? 

I dont know why this thread got so many downvotes. It doesnt mean that people are not able to do the mainquests anymore or that it will be harder to complete the 30k or 100k quest achievements with the title etc. 

Just let us go to a NPC and choose "Do you really want to autocomplete the Mainquests you already completed once?" - Yes / No

If someone did this already but then all of sudden want to do the 100k quest achievement, make kind of repeatable quests for that reason, or make the decision i just mentioned reversed.
