Topic. I think it's time for life skill levels to be for all characters on your account. If multiple characters have a life skill leveled, lump all the exp together. If that exp would overcap Guru 50, reimburse them with silver or byproducts or something. Please.

And the character level should also be the same for all characters on your account. /s
How about no.
While we are at it how about we make it where you can purchase levels & life skill exp in the pearl shop :)
What would be the issue with life levels being shared? I know combat levels would cause issues because it's part of the character's progression. Life skills are a bit different though. I think having to switch characters for various things like that is a bit awkward and makes little sense. For example, you have a character that levels training for horses, right? Okay, but they're not the character you actually play for combat, yet when you're playing your combat character you're getting training exp while traveling because they're the one that actually uses the horse. I've always felt that it seems kinda dumb that your progression on these skills isn't just universal. There's more situations that are similar to this too. I don't see why anyone would be against this either unless they've dropped a lot of money on life skill exp exchange coupons, but I think the fact that those are even a thing really highlights that this is a flaw or a problem with the design of life skills. Yeah, character exp exchange is a thing too, but generally those aren't something you can just buy, and they're not available very often, which highlights the difference between the two.

Should've quoted with my previous reply, but these two things are not the same. I don't see why you thought this was a good comparison.

What? Why? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I get the feeling this is more sarcasm in criticism of my post, and I don't get what point you're trying to make with it because this is also completely different from what I'm suggesting

I am genuinely curious. Why do you feel that unifiying life skills across the account is different from unifiying character levels across the account?
They feel like the same thing to me.

Life skills belonge to the character progression the same way combat level and skills point do!
None of it should be account wide!

Life skills are more of a utility whereas character level is just a standard RPG thing. I mean, going with your stance, why should characters get to share gear, or horses, or anything else instead of everything being strictly tied to the character? Letting life skills be account wide lets you do the life skills regardless of which character you're on and have it be worthwhile or give roughly the same utility if they're using the same life skill gear and/or outfits.
What harm would it cause for the skill levels to be shared? With all the quality of life changes they've been making in the game, I don't see why anyone would be against this. Like, they're letting us put our infinite potions in the family inventory, which is great. Going with how you're against life skill levels, a similar stance could be taken with the potions and argued that they should be tied to the character that got them. But why? What's the point of that?
