Installation-Guide

1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

Boat autopathing with breezy sail

Boat autopathing with breezy sail is a complete disaster.  It makes the boat do zig-zags and often crash into islands.  The reason for this is the pathing only updates 1 time during breezy sail, so if there are any turns/bends in the path, now the boat is way outside the path by the time breezy sail ends.   

2 possible solutions (would need testing) would be:

1:  Update the pathing at the start of breezy sail and again at the end of breezy sail.

2:  Make it so breezy sail can follow the pathing through bends, instead of only going straight forward.

It does. the zig zag path it chooses is bad but it stays on the path if you actually hit T. You can't hit T during a breezy sail. You need to make sure after chosing a destination you hit T and see it start moving on that path. Maybe watch it as it autopaths and you'll see it will stay on the path unlike long ago where it was the terrible thing your saying. Otherwise I could never get to and from ancado to hakoven when i walk away from computer.

That's what I do, but it still falls off the path, I'm still getting stuck on walls occasionally.   I'll post screenshot in about 15 minutes.

If breezy kicks in just before a turn, it will ignore the turn until breezy is done, which often gets you in weird circles or crashed into islands

its been updated to stop before drastic turns if and only if u start moving using autopath, not when u engage autopath after boat is already moving forward

I'll give that a shot, but you also have the issue like when you're at the wharf and select an autopath, the path will go through land instead of water, so you have to move and select the end point again to reset the path

Update.. that seems to be working so far.  Can't start off with "Power Accel" but not a show stopper

Part of the problem is that the paths aren't even remotely straight to begin with. The shortest distance between two points is a straight line (except when you need to go around something in your path) but this game will setup autopaths WAY out of the way to take you very close to EVERY island between where you are and where you are going. This needs to be fixed first, and will likely go a long way to fix the breezy sail issue just due to there being a less turns to begin with.
