3 weeks ago, after an update, I suddenly started having really frequent crashes. did a ton of troubleshooting by verifying the game client, rolling back windows updates, changing nvidia driver versions, and changing settings to reduce system load. BDO was the only game having the problem of course. nothing worked. crashing got so bad that I was lucky to be logged in for more than 10 minutes at a time. how was this possible when I played the game for at least 2 weeks at this point, completely crash free and stable?
was ready to quit. then I deleted my cache folder at "C:\Pearlabyss\BlackDesert\Cache" this magically fixed the game for me. I've had the issue return and deleting cache fixed it again. I doubt this is the fix for every crash issue, but hope it helps someone else.
Yes it help, also repairing the game client everytime you crash.
Pretty crazy that it's the only game that crash like this, like im playing cyberpunk with the new DLC which is more demanding than bdo for the computer and no crash..

Well that was quick. After setting my main monitor to 60Hz, 5 mins into the game it froze and could continue.
Would be weird why this 60Hz would work as I've been playing fine for months with 144Hz.
Going to try different Nvidia drivers now.
Edit: knock on wood but it seems to be stable now.
I removed the Nvidia driver with DDU and installed the latest 537.34 and also enabled MSI mode (though it probably doesn't have to do anything with stability) and its very smooth again with 144Hz.
Well crashes are back today.
It was fine from the 16th of September until today.
3 times in 15 minutes, doing nothing special, no other programs running (only Discord), CPU/GPU temperature is fine.
It just goes to the desktop without any warning, the only thing I can find in the eventlogs is a message that the AntiCheatSys is unloaded succesfully from File Filter System. I would guess this message is because the game just stopped, so the Anti Cheat System is then unloaded which makes sense.
I don't want to try out a number of fixes every few weeks, it's annoying and have these issues in no other games.

Another great node war with 3 crash wouhhhhh yeahhh thank you Pearl Abyss, and then I try RBF and 2 crash can't even do a complete RBF

Past few weeks I have multiple crashes during nodewar and siege, everything is okay with grinding, sailing, everything is just fine
And this happens to a lot of people I know to a point that this isn't just personal isp issue

Just a little update: it's stable for the last 10 days for me.
In my case it seems it's because I've connected my 2 monitors to 1 GPU, whereas before I had my 2nd monitor (for Discord or other things) on my iGPU. Had issues with more games with this 1 GPU setup.
After connecting my 2nd monitor to the iGPU again and my main (for games) to my NVidia GPU I had no crashes or freezes again.
Let's hope it keeps this way.

If you have these repeated crashes without error, in the past few weeks, it seems to have helped to use DDU to remove your graphics driver, and then do a clean install from the website. It seems BDO has been conflicting with some of the past driver updates recently. Its worth a try
While I would like to say this was a fix. It was nothing more then a temporary thing.
It's been a month now and I regularly need to do a clean driver install to avoid crashing multiple times a day.
I can call it a good day if I only crash once.
Even after doing a full new windows install (unrelated to BDO issue) the game still crashes to desktop.
I'd like to say more than half of my guild suffers the same issue and I had to guide people through the DDU multiple times already. While it's pretty obvious the issue is at BDO's side.
For such an issue to go unfixed / unnoticed for so long is disappointing.

C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\nv_dispig.inf_amd64_0905d5f86c27c241\nvwgf2umx.dll that error making me crazy if someone found solution pls type here i beg! What im trying to fix that error and didnt work:
-Clean install windows didnt work!
-Uninstall game and install again didnt work!
-Using DDU for clean install gpu driver didnt work!
-Verify game files etc didnt work!
-Did memtest maybe for ram issue theres no error!
-Discord game overlay disabled didnt work!
I dont have that issue except bdo playing other games with no issue and only getting that error in bdo especialy on large scale fights nw-sieges %100 crash!Normal gameplay arena,grind and someother things like have no issue atm and i should say that doing some largescale fights in openworld like had no crash at all.Please if anyone find a fix help us...

Try running Debug Mode in Nvidia Control Panel under Help dropdown menu. Worked for me. 3 months with no .dll crashes.

Constant crashes are back again here as well.
Not changed the Nvidia driver, no settings changed in the game. I also deleted the cache and usercache (again) to see if that helps.
But after 3 mins it slowed down, and got stuck, music still playing. And I was just standing around, not doing anything.
No crashes in any other game I play. It's getting pretty annoying.
EDIT: interesting, I did a DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
Did not find anything there but also a sfc /scannow and it found a Corrupt file: C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\BthHfEnum.sys and repaired it.
Seems to have something to do with a bluetooth audio driver (which I don't even have on this desktop computer).
But I got to play without an issue for 30 mins (maybe to soon to tell). But it was already longer then the 3 previous sessions as they crashed after a few mins.
It's still odd that I only seem to have had it with this game.
