Family Name: Roarworthy
Region (NA/EU): NA
Suggestions/Comments: So here are the two latest non-class-locked outfits released.  The first one (very obviously) is for the male classes.  The second one (also very obviously) is for the female classes.  If you look at what I refer to as "level of visual effort" between the two, you will see two strikingly different approaches to what constitutes effort for outfit design.  This is not a specific all out for this specific armor set, but more a call out on the overall [LOVE] given to males vs females.  I'm once again saying that you are simply not trying hard enough to release good looking outfits for female classes.  For my last thread on a similar subject, check here;  https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Forum/ForumTopic/Detail?_topicNo=33638&_opinionNo=0

Some specific call outs:

Male costumes get 3D armor.  Female costumes are basically painted on the model.

Male costumes get full helmets with many interesting details.  Female costumes get a low-resolution eye patch that looks like every other eye patch in the game (and we get free eye patches anyways)

This is not a thread intended to call out the obvious bias in "power fantasy vs. sexualization".  Yes, most people that play this game are probably men, meaning that there are many who want to see themselves as the super cool armored hero male class, unless they are playing a female class then they want to imagine their character as their pillow waifu.  That is obvious, and has always obviously been the motivation behind whoever designs these god awful sets for female classes.  That isn't what this thread is about though.

This thread is about the love.  The LOVE.  The new "cash shop" outfit for female classes doesn't even look like a cash shop outfit.  It looks like generic leveling gear.  It doesn't look like something people would even care to attempt to dye if not for an incentivized event trying to get people to buy this low-tier cosmetic slop.

But, what is my solution?  I have an easy one honestly.  You would think by now it would have been obvious, especially for a company that charges $22 USD for a cosmetic.

Make the costumes unisex. Let female classes enjoy the wonders of high-LOVE outfits that have had a lot of care and attention to detail put in by the artists.  Make the outfits work for both male and female classes.  There is a still yet untapped market of people who actually want to wear really COOL LOOKING ARMOR on female classes.  I swear I'm not lying here.  We've been asking for literally almost a decade by now.  La Orzeca, Ossa Cerberi, there are literally high effort costumes that exist for both genders to wear and people love the LOVE put into them.

I feel you.  But.... I'd rather not see costumes become a melting pot of everyone looking like everyone else.  Unisex outfits as the solution is......... too easy.  C'mon, PA should be trying to make real money.  And real money takes work, or theivery.  I want PA to get to work and start producing quality stuff again, not a bunch of copy/paste garbage.  Half the outfits created lately smack of that.  The latest hair designs......... I'm quite sure I've seen all of them in this game.......

Where is the love, PA?  It's not found in copy/paste.  It's found in hard work.

Please, let's get to it.  This is an awesome game.  Make some more awesome content for it.

I must say I was happy when Ossa Cerberi came out for Valkyrie!

Yes, women in this game lack of good armors.

I don't understand why a badass as Guardian is always naked...

I wonder why Lahn has 2 great swords but is always fighting with slit dresses...

I'm glad that they don't do the same mistakes with Drakania who's already been offered nice armors (including Ossa!!).

But why not give the choice? Not only outfit choice, but TYPE of outfit choice?

There's not only light clothes (even light underwears sometimes, because let's not call Kibelius "clothes"), there's also armors. We should be offered those 2 types for every class, even though Musa4ever got a point and I fully agree with him: "I'd rather not see costumes become a melting pot of everyone looking like everyone else. "

Would be great to have different armors proposed depending of the classes so. Let's make them different but still, let's have the choice to wear clothes (or underwear...) or armor for our beloved characters!

I have to say........ it's been a long time since I've been excited to see a new outfit.... especially for female classes.  Everything these past couple years has felt so uninspired.
