Suggestions/Comments: First, let me thank you for this update no one really asked for. But it's a good one. Currents while afk bartering were a pain. So now, i can be afk more efficiently. My ship now flies from A to B! And i can easily make my 400millions per day as the great afk barterer i am! i will make so much money now!!!
And sea monster hunting? Lekra will be easier now! And north crocs finally good to sail! omg tahnk you PA! The change no one asked for but that you were so wise to make!
Thanks to you, now it only takes me 2h to make my 400millions in my 2 windows of afk bartering! before it was approx 2h. Wait... it seems the same.
Let's go try crocs... now i can make... the same amount as before?! But ok, i did not really go north where currents are so awful no one ever goes there. Only 3 packs were impacted by currents where i grind. And they felt the same as before!
Maybe Lekra is the zone where it is more visible... Now i will be able to fly there! Nope, still as painful.
I have a question: do you, PA, think we are that dumb and wouldn't notice that you just changed the UI (and even that you failed to center it) to not display currents and didn't really delete them? You weakened them and only a little.
You did such a poorly job that it's barely noticeable. And how could you not see it? Simple: because you dont play your own game and you don't listen to players!
How the fuck can a ship with 500 wind in the back be slower than with neg 20 in front? (you can't really measure distance, but you can count the dots on minimap)
Well, anyway, good job on not listening to players needs and trying to make fools out of us again.

Sure, i'll make one later. But did you really sail margoria? Do you see a difference with before? I'm really curious about this.
I timed all my sea travels yesterday. Today, they are exactly the same. And i feel the same slows in the same spots.
And like i said, the ship goes slower with wind in back than with wind in front. That's the video i'll make.
Now let's see how many clueless people are around here lol

these 3 are either ppl that clearly dont care about sea or just dont know how sea mechanics work. simple tests are enough to proof we either got the same bug that KR had in the first days with
The phenomenon of a decrease in the speed of large ships in some areas has been corrected.
"large ships" = carrack.
or PA did something completely wrong.

The problem is that i don't see decreased speed, i see everything the same lol
Not faster, not slower. Just the current ui off.

I went all over the entire crocs area, up and down, left and right, diagonal, back and forth for several hours of farming. Before this area frequently had 50+ current areas that would halt your ship if you were moving in the wrong direction until breezy sail kicks in. I didn't experience anything like that today, my ship could move quickly in every direction.
You started talking about winds mid-post which doesn't make sense, they removed currents, not winds.

I don't think they didn't touch them like you say cuz I def have not hit spots where my boat would really slow the eff down but theres something not right. I had 170mph winds behinds me and my breezy sail wouldn't even go past 60percent of that bar. Now before shit made no sense either. You would go faster with zero currents then 20 mph currents in your favor too.
I was really expecting to move faster everywhere and it would be noticable but its not.
My point is they didn't remove them. Ofc i noticed in old 50 current that it's a bit better.
it seems decresed, but not off. Otherwise, how can your ship be slower with wind in the back.

The winds matter because if you have no current, then with wind on your back, your ship should be faster. And there are areas where with it's not. Showing that current is not removed.
i'll go to rust spot where current is north east to south west and make that video tonight. hoping that wind will be comin from south
