As i am underwater gathering lobsters, i use my lifeskill buffs for additional mastery/exp.
The problem however, is i am spending more time afk heating the lobsters than actualy gathering, wasting over 50% of my buffs for no reason.
Would be great if there was an option to toggle buffs on/off :)
(or mass heat lobsters?)

You're choosing to process the lobsters. You can always discard them if it's an issue. Alternatively you could gather at other areas that don't require processing.
You didn't make it clear that you wanted the lobsters as there's more reasons to gather underwater than just lobsters: Coral Crystals, Deep Sea Fruit, Dried Pearl Oyster Flesh etc.
Pausing life buffs would be too OP. Just pause them while I'm sailing to an island and only turn them on when I actually barter my items. Yeah smart idea. /s

Aah yes..let me go underwater for no "reason" to gather lobsters for the experience,..thats it. Does this sound smart to you?
