Of course they make new endgame content with those in mind. They're the endgame pve weapons. Surprise, who knew you'd need endgame pve weapons for endgame pve content?
The world boss weapons exist because they're part of the progression path. Their lifespan has been significantly shortened from before, but boss into blackstar has been the progression path since blackstar came out. You simply chose to ignore it.
Why? Mainhand BS is about 20% and awak BS about 10% damage increase in all the new high end spot. This is massive!
And what do you give up? 2 All species damage... like wtf
There is no trade of. You make 0.01% less damage in PvP to get a 30% damage increase in PvE.
I did go for c20 boss gear because I liked the upgrade path of caphras more than a 5% dice roll every attempt.
Atleast make the trade of equal good/bad
You high or what ? You know that buffs and items increasse stats right ? That's what i'm literatelly saying, stop showing recommended AP/DP just as raw stats, because 310 AP in total stats, even just AP - its like ~200 raw AP.
Show hidden AP caps, the one where you take your "Total AP stats after all bonuses" and add Extra Damage - this is your AP agaisnt monsters (if you use boss weapons forget about PVE at all). Every spot have its hidden AP cap, the amount of combined AP after which one you dont get more damage (afaik you can see it on garmoth).
Its very simple, instead of "Recomended 310AP" show "combined AP" cap.
Don't show this

A few issues.
#1 Some people forget about knowledge, back in the day all mobs were new and required us to gain knowledge on the mobs we been spoiled with high end areas due to the mobs being "copies" or clones of weaker mobs.
#2 understanding mechanics..
These mobs specifically are actually very weak.. you need to agro wizard by using light or non rotation skills. Once he starts his animation hit him fast "BUT DO NOT USE MAIN SKILLS" stop hitting the second you see the message of interrupted.
If you continue to hit the wizard you don't do damage and the mobs continue to move (NO AOE SKILLS).
After message mobs all fall takes like 2 or 3 skills to kill them once your "A" knowledge.
Obviously you want to be using all down attack gems, down attack damage on your skills "5%" and down attack "Stomping lightstone".
Now each class will do better or worse depending on your skill modifiers some classes don't have many down attack modifiers just keep it in mind but once your S rank on knowledge you be doing well.
Tungrade is another monster those require MUCH HIGHER accuracy (1000+) and also you will be using Back attack gemming there and behind the shadows lightstones.
For you clowns clicking negative response I can 2 to 3 skill these mobs with a Succession valkyrie one of the worst PVE classes in the game right now.
He is right in so far that the "recommended AP" on the locations on the world map is inaccurate and misleading, and has been so ever since they existed. This is definitely something that can be improved. Maybe you can try submitting a constructive feedback and suggestion about how it should be changed in the feedback section instead of yelling at the void in an unrelated thread?
Or maybe the CM's could mention it, considering they're alot closer to people who listen and the problem is so blantantly obvious, Helen Keller can see it..??
Everyone knows PA gives ZERO F's about what NA players want.
If it doesn't come from KR, it doesn't get addressed.
Hi there, just FYI: These things have been confirmed to be false nowadays. All mentions of it have been removed from Wikis / official information a while ago. The only "advantage" that gained knowledge gives for grinding is the "View monster HP" which you get from level C.
The drop rate is gained by having a certain amount of overall Ecology knowledge, but the part about receiving less damage or dishing out more is false. So people who grind there for the first time will do the very same damage as those who have been there for a while and got all the knowledge at S.

The CMs will mention the feedback that gets submitted to them, which is why I asked Potato to make a post about it and specify the issue and his suggestions.

Can a GM confirm this as i have never seen this be itterated to be either or by anyone since they added ecology points.
No offense i just havent seen anything on it exception of what was stated since i started im pretty sure the damage side of things still works like this not sure about the rest.
There was a very extensive test by BigandShiny and his crew confirming that knowledge does not have an influence on damage: https://www.reddit.com/r/blackdesertonline/comments/11u0hro/demystifying_how_damage_works_in_pve_and_reverse/

There was also a post on invenKR where someone submitted a ticket and a GM confirmed it was indeed not true any more , but I do not have it at hand. The fact that it was removed from all official sources should tell you a lot though. You can always submit a ticket as well to confirm the mechanic does not exist.

Did you actually think about that response before you typed it?
This is literally the equivalent of a fireman, in a firetruck, beside a fire hydrant, sitting outside a burning building, telling the owner he has to call 911 before he'll do anything. Absolutely bonkers..

Ah bigandshiny is a reputable source by himself, kinda weird they fully removed it though.
Edit: Seems like it was a translation issue im pretty sure it did work guess its like sub node energy , never fully implemented

I have read the PVE report several times..
No place in there does it breach the subject of knowledge reading 90 pages is a bit rough but if it is in there I must of missed it even skimming over based on this comment.
There is a discernable difference between gained knowledge at A+ vs no knowledge.
Considering these mobs blow up before HP BAR reaches zero.
Obviously there is a possible placebo affect after seeing the HP bar and most times starting grade may not be C but above.
Granted wiki does have it posted as well as other sources but we are not talking 100's of AP gain here or massive %.
Before knowledge it seemed like it was having a rougher than normal time after knowledge on all mobs as well as understanding the mechanics went to 2 to 3 skill mobs. Again when I say I am 316 ap that is 316ap kutum.
Outside of what classes my succ valk feels like it preforms better at city of the dead vs meagu at tungrade.
