Hello all!
I'd like to propose you a funny, surprising topic : the idea is to remember things that may have been changed or removed in BDO for so long now, that newest players may not even know it existed.
I could go on a long and boring list, but I'd like to make you all participate instead.
Here's the first thing :
- Stamina used to go down much faster, to the point that you could barely run several seconds.

Just to name 2:
- Silver had weight. You could only carry a few million without beeing overweight.
- Agerian Armor and Yuria Weapons where the best equipment ingame.

- Tier 6 horses used to be the highest tier
- Horse Death had an influence on the breed result
- We had to click HP / Mana pots on cooldown manually, for years
- You used to die from drowning if you were diving too long

- you could get additional stats with your "Renown score" which was based on your sheet AP/AAP/DP.
Moreover, you could gain additional points of Renown if you had a high fame on one of the territories (depending on your amity with NPCs in these territories).
As you could concentrate on a single NPC, Alustin in Calpheon or Igor Bartali in Balenos were often the "besties" of many adventurers.

Tier 6? I remember Tier 5 (the one you could get from preorder) beeing the highest.
- Level 45 beeing the PvP entrance level.

-to get a Yuria weapon back then, one of the best deals was to do the amity game with Ronatz in Calpheon to get them at a nice price.
AAAAAaand for that reason, choosing Black Dragon birthsign was suggested as it was supposed to help with this conversation.

Im sorry to be the debbie downer here but there is no real benefit to looking back at the old systems that BDO had.
But if you were to address the really important ones, you would be talking about:
1) the CC system for combat.
2) the market "bid" system, and even older "Silver Bid" system.
3) EXP loss on ANY death, even from PVP.
4) Beer Crate events that are now GONE.
5) By-product systems from lifeskilling that used to be better (cooking, farming)
the list goes on....
