1 Ladet die Datei BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe herunter und installiert den „Black Desert“-Launcher.

2 Bitte startet das Spiel, sobald die Installation beendet ist.

As you've all probably read the upcoming changes to the declaration of war system is not being taken well by the PvP community myself included.

I believe that they have a vast amount of systems in place to protect people from PvP as it stands already (Marnis Realm, Not ready for war Guilds, Protection for members, Home servers with no CD and now the new 5min channel change) They already have more than enough systems in place that protect people that are not interested in pvp but this latest change is more towards assisting griefers than it is protecting people from one sided conflicts.

PA's reasoning for these changes are flawed and very clearly not looked into. One sided decs exist for more reasons than just purely bullying lower gear guilds and even in that instance theres still ways to avoid the conflict. Most one sided declarations are due to grind spot disputes and griefing, this alone is solved by the new marni change and theres 0 reason to change wars ontop of this. I personally feel like marnis room is a clowns box for people to hide in and ruins open world but would still rather have it in the game if it helps alleviate stress for people who dont want to pvp

If someones really that worried about PvP then make 1-2 servers no PvP allowed, some say add a negative drop rate affect (25%-50%) i personally dont think thats the right approach to a PvPless server but i do get why its a point thats been suggested to incentivise people to put them selfs more at a risk for a better reward.

Black desert has been advertised heavily towards PvP and open world. Theres many open world PvP guilds that will completely die from this change, i know alot of people are saying theres other types of PvP but the others are flawed in many ways and give no incentive for players to get more gear or progress in the game.

Nodewar - 90% capped, gate kept by a community of guilds who decide who can place on what node meaning you are zerged off if you are not a part of it. Has a 2 hour slot (3 for siege) in which your irl can end up conflicting with.

RBF - Has horrible scaling mechanics, limited maps (only one anyone even plays is valencia), doesnt reflect gear well.

Solare - Very fun game mode but gives no incentive towards gear and is time gated.

BA/AOA - No meaning towards the PVP, is either to practice or for tourneys between friends.

Team battle - No one knows what this shit is its dead.

Its a shame to see PA make these types of desicions as they are clearly a bandaid to a wider problem, they would rather kill a significant portion of the game than actually spend time looking into the problem and finding a better solution towards it. PA has made some great content desicions in recent months which has brought alot of people to or back to the game. But then they take 3 steps back.

I personally am not spending any more money on pearls until they at the very least address our concerns as a community about these changes.

I personally play this game around OpenWorld PvP mainly.

With this change, the game stopped making sense to me, and reason to continue playing.

Also, gearing in this game has no real meaning after this change. As you already said, most of the content is capped at this time.

Instead of creating some really good PvP content in this game that is missing, they try to destroy the only one existing.

I believe this game has been dying for the past two years now, but this really makes it worse.  I already haven't been spending money this years, as I have been given no real incentives (and everywhere I turn, something I love about this game is being botched).  This next step backwards furthers my resolve to not open my wallet. 

I love this game. 

I do not love the Pearl Abyss.

PA, I beg you, please change back.

It doesn't really matter, ironically PA undermine their own income with these changes anyway, as there is no longer any reason to gear up at this point. I kinda wonder who will going to swipe for those crons and artisans that they are buffing so hard now. Surely tuvala players will kappa

I may be no PvPer (well, not anymore), apart from some RBF very occasionally (more and more I seem to drift from PvP; but, I am an awakening wizard so, *shrug* but less and less I seem to actually play the game, instead leaving it on doing something, and playing something else), but PvP has always been a part of this game since I've played (since ending of 2018, beginning of 2019, around the time I started playing I believe, would have to check, way b4 seasons, and when trash loot was worth 10x less than it is now, elvia wasn't even a thing either, and neither was fallen god, and the game felt like it was more alive than it is now, and at the lower end of PvP, it wasn't a one shot meta and was actually fun, my best PvP experiences were low to mid tier gear (back then TRI boss gear was soft cap, later upgraded to TET boss gear as soft cap)). PvP DOES NOT need to be removed. It needs to get a serious balancing PATCH. PA needs to stop messing around and actually balance classes, not around popularity, but around actually being balanced and making all classes able to fight the others (including shai, hopefully, never underestimate a good shai player, they may not kill you, but you won't kill them either).

I sure has heck hope PvP does get some love. It does not need to be PvP open world griefing (cause it exists, same with PvE griefing, and the open world PvP helps mitigate that, and I think some people don't get that, it's not just griefing and spot fighting, it's good for keeping PvE griefers from griefing too, and with the Marni changes, if the 12 hours are per day, and in a row, there's no reason whatsoever for any changes to open world PvP, except maybe an exception for lifeskillers (which would make them unable to fight regular combat mobs, so they don't use that exception of protection to grief grinders).

Hopefuly the War of Roses and more uncapped PvP stuff comes out, and soon...War of Roses feels like a cool concept (one I very much wish to experience and see if they do it justice), much like what Warhammer Age of Reckoning did for large scale PvP, and it was EPIC (game however failed cause devs outsourced servers to a completely incompetent team with mediocre servers, barely able to not lag with 30 people in same spot, it got fixed by them stopping to outsource it and just have their own servers, and could easily have hundreds of people and not a single bit of lag, but game's rep was shot already. And it could be the same with PA, as we all know, PA's servers are big doo doo and need serious improvement.)

Edit: I have not given PA money in maybe 1-2 years now, and REFUSE to do so, until they at the very least fix their servers. Just fixing their desync issues would make PvP infinitely more balanced and fair.

Although I wish that PA had taken much smaller steps, such as time limits on one sided deccs, many of us will feel no downsides, but rather upsides.  My 100 person guild rarely deccs.
