Suggestions/Comments: Sailors are a pain to use and need some QoL changes. URGENTLY (please?)
We have ships with 100 and 150 cabins, we can get up to 40 sailors, and soon 50. That's 9 pages to scroll as it only displays 5 at a time. They are not sorted, we cannot move them. We cannot rename them, we cannot make sets. It's very bad to use and find the ones we look for. It's expensive and very not user friendly.
Maybe allow us to get the next 10 through loyalties?
And their levelling is so bad that in almost 4 years and going through thousands, i'm not happy with the ones i have.

1. We need sailor management.
a. to be able to sort them manually (up and down)
b. to be able to rename them
c. to be able to create sets like we do for pets or cristals. Maybe a quick embark/disembark for the set. Even without the possibility to embark the set, just being able to give them numbers or names would be helpful.
d. a different way to display them in the UI. An idea could be like our character panel: rows of portraits just showing name on top left, the bin to fire them top right, level bottom left and type bottom righ. And clicking on them opens their full details.
e. change the way we "fire" them to have a confirmation including the name and level of the sailor we are getting rid of. Misclics happen when you level 10+ per day.

f. show a warning when a sailor condition goes under 20. Allow us to feed them whenever and wherever (not needing to be at wharf).
g. allow us to manage sailors on the ship and not at wharf. Being able to embark/disembark or fire them through the ship. Same for cristals. You can't summon black spirit on a ship.
h. rework the stat names for obvious ones (endurance, awareness, wits, strenght, focus, vision) and get rid of the never used ones (patience, force, seasoned sailor, son of the wind, abstain, natural born soldier)
i. display the maximum stats a sailor can reach and the max growth on next level on the sailor details panel. There are some numbers around but i doubt some of them as they were never reached or got close to that even.
example: level8 to 9 +0,3/x.xmax

2. We need better leveling for the sailors.
Sailors grow very randomly and very poorly. Knowing what their max stats are would be nice. And the ability for them to reach those max stats would be nice too.
so either increase the growth chance, or better: make a rewarding system that will slowly allow them to grow even after level10 when killing sea monsters. example: each 1k seamonsters killed, get 0.1 increase.

3. We need useful sailors. We have many types of sailors but only 3 types are used. All the others are garbage.
Checking Velia, iliya, epheria every 30 mins for sailors is stupid. Just put them all in taverns. Or make a market for sailors: buying for 3m + 50 energy, sell for 20m lvl1 or 100m level10 (just an example of price).
Make like pets or workers, give them bonuses.
Maybe add sailors (or remove the useless ones and add useful bonus stats to the existing ones) that will impact useful things like: drop rate when killing sea monters, canon cooldown (example: 0 stats but 0.25 or 0.5sec reduction), ration efficiency, sailing xp boost, ship durability, ship weight, ship max canonballs and rations, or whatever other useful thing i can't think of now.

Remove sailor weight.  After the cabin increase it completely killed bartering (or at least, made it must more of a pain in the butt) on my volante.

Volante is a warship. Get an Advance or Balance and sailors that are only 100 or 200 weight.

Other than that: I'm in full agreement with the OP. Especially the sailor UI badly needs an overhaul when having so many.

Have an advance as well (blue volante, green advance).  Why would anyone use anything other than innocents on either of these 2 boats (speed boat or bartering)?   Yes, a valor may use different sailors.

Adding more cabins means losing weight if full sailors. I like the fact that combat ships can carry less. And imo the diff is not strong enough, i would love to see the ships really have huge differences. Right now, anything can be done with any ship with small differences. I never use my volante or balance anymore. I do everything with advance because it's fast enough, carries a lot more, and can kill stuff. And when going to kill stuff for hours, i swap to valor.

- valor should be 8s CD take 2 shots to kill crocs and med ships, 3shots on candies and large seamonters, 1shot everything else. And carry15k.
- volante should be 12s CD and a lot faster than valor but deal less dmg taking 1 shot more to kill things: 3 shots to kill crocs and med ships, 4shots on candies and large seamonters, 2shot everything else. And carry20k.
- balance should 14s CD and taking 1 shot more than volante: 4 shots to kill crocs and med ships, 5shots on candies and large seamonters, 3shot everything else. And carry25k.
- advance should have 16s cd and carry 30k+ and take 1 shot more than balance: : 5 shots to kill crocs and med ships, 6shots on candies and large seamonters, 4shot everything else. And carry25k.

Like i said in op, people use 3 types of sailors and when bartering, you only use innocents because speed+reduced weight.
if you don't cash in for sailors, then you have to maybe pass on others for innocents or learn to kill stuff with them. Realistics offer a good angle to kill stuff. Confidents are very good for those who can't abuse camlock and want a faster turn. And some players even use those + camlock because you trun even faster.

Very good points, Fluffy. I would like to add:

Make land people depend on the sailors who bring stuff from sea monster hunting (as in create more and bigger items that we can exchange or sell on MP) or some sort of Unique resourses (like in real world gas and oil is).

Would be pretty cool to get a ship upgrade where we "smash" 2 (or more) carracks together (like 2 dream horses) amd get more efficient and slick looking ship (not the big one like Galleon so it does not affect the ports). Something like volante+another one gets you a slim and super fast ship (or like extra boost at the press of a button). Valor+other gives bulky cannon ship with less cannons but stronger punch. Advance+other gives a great cargo space and weight boost for trading/bartering....

Crews: make sets for sailors so it is easier to change them and set depending on what are you doing smh, barter or other.

With the removal of the restriction for using the NOL most sailors are useless now. Adding personality traits (extra bonus boost or perks) to sailors would be more exciting to level them. Unique sailor that can go on top of the mast and look far and give u some indication or hint for where the sea creatures/mobs are would make sailing a bit more interactive rather than straining your eyes and wiggling camera left to right constantly...

Most of the loot is impossible to see on the sea - make indication better (something like lekrashans one, but make it mini version). Especially with the new pirate zone, the ships sink to fast and the tiny white pillar is barely visible even when u are pretty close...

Quest while sailing still needs you to dismount and go and speak with the npc. As a captain you should be able to get your sailors hand them in...

Loading cannonballs has too many windows, and the new item of 150 gets deselected every time when going to the next one. This need to be more smooth - make use of the skill buttons (quick slots) as we not using them while on ship anyway. Or at least hot buttons, or something similar to the fairy option where once it is low it gets top up (fingers crossed that is coming with the first mate/vice captain update?). Same with rations maybe?

Big ask, i know, but Boss with mechanics would be cool - like where if u are in a party with 3 people, 1 has to go kill mobs protecting the other one who has to stun boss, and last one has to clear some sort of barriers or drift arround the tornados or something to avoid huge damage and get to some point to trigger some crystal (or something along those line where 3 ppl would have to do 3 different things in order to clear the boss). so it snot just another bullet sponge.

That is it for now :)

Oh additional attack would be cool, like throwing spears or something like that (that deals smaller amount of damage), as quite a few times when mob is like 10% or less it pains me to use 9 cannonballs just to kill it >.<

Also changing color salvo during the aim mode to indicate when it is ready to be shot would be very nice QoL improvement (so when is ready make it blue, when it is being reloaded make it yellow or something like that)
