Who said profitable? I didn't say profitable,
Siege and node wars are not even close to profitable.
The main concern is exploitation. What about the system you proposed prevents me from making a bunch of shell guilds to dec my own guild once every two weeks letting the decs auto end due to inactivity, and raking in free money for every person in my guild?
P.S saying something is negative silver because of oppurtunity cost is silly. It's just not a healthy way to look at the game.
I believe I covered that, if the Dec ends due to inactivity nothing is paid out. It would really easy to identify the people who just farm each other to exploit.
I honestly forgot about gvg .-. I barely go on unless hour grind n daily nothing look forward to we ain't got no pve content everything weekly or seasonal at this point no story smh
2 week CD on guild decs is pointless for combating griefers. No point.
But guild wards are not supposed to be used that way anyway.
PA should think about a system to avoid griefing but the problem is that in KR they don't care about that, griefing is "normal" for them...
The game is gonna become more toxic since we (NA and EU, so the majority of players) don't want any grief, but as long as the minority of players in KR is happy, PA is happy... So no solution against griefing.
This can be exploited so easily, no.

"Any war that auto cancels due to inactivity is treated as a draw, if the total kills/deaths is greater than 50 the silver rewards are split evenly, if it is less than 50 only the declared on side gets rewards."
Your original post certainly didn't suggest that war ending due to inactivity pay out nothing. Can I also block guilds im at war with from getting their winning by just letting the war go inactive at the 90 deaths mark if I'm losing?

Copy from original post "Condition A. If neither guild kills each other for 48 hours the war auto cancels, no rewards given out. " and "Any war that auto cancels due to inactivity is treated as a draw, if the total kills/deaths is greater than 50 the silver rewards are split evenly, if it is less than 50 only the declared on side gets rewards, mutual wars that have less than 50 kills net nothing and lock the silver rewards for 2 months."
I thought that was covered but it is unclear. Also realize that this is good for discussion, I put the groundwork for a GvG system with payout, but in no way is this indicated as a final draft. Heck this is a rough draft not even beyond the first revision.
As for if you let the war to inactive after 90 kills it would not, because the total kills had already been over 50 doesn't matter if the difference between sides was less than 50 at that point. Now if you got to 49 kills/deaths then you hid in town and on other servers for 48 hours, then yes you could deny rewards to the other guild but you would get the loser payout.
There could be "War participation seals" that are given out as well. We don't have to pay out silver, the seals could be traded in for items, provide buffs, loots scrolls, titles, something other than just "oh we won the war and it's done now."
I have to wonder, how would you structure a GvG system to provide rewards of some sort, providing an incentive to accept the wars, and providing compensation to any guild that were issued a war but did not want to be part of a war.
