Can we have more houses?

I do not understand at all the restriction on 5 houses.
I want to have a house in each city, but the 5 cap stops me. I'd love to buy and decorate a home in each zones style, but I can't.
Please, PA remove this restriction. It is arbitrary, and serves no purpose other than keeping me (and players like me) from buying lots of furniture on the pearl shop.

There is a quest that raises the limit to 7. Might not get every city but helps out some :)

This is a technical limitation.

I did not know that. Sadly there isn't much info out there regarding the housing / cosmetic side of things.

I don't mind that we only get 5 or 7, but...
Can we have better housing? "Good" houses have weird places you can't put anything, and "really good" houses are way down in Grana or Duvencrune. Even then, they leave a lot to be desired... like being able to put a rug in front of a door or being able to put lighting or pictures on a wall going up stairs.
Of course, my wish list item is being able to put furniture on a porch, especially if the only way to get to the porch is by going through the house. Just sayin...
Yeah, I know they're supposed to initiate "mansions" at some point, but who knows how long that will be?
