I have to say, when they announced Corsair, way back, I was hoping for a gunslinging, swashbuckling male pirate.

Then we got our mermaid.

Corsair is fine and fun, but still, I think a male pirate is warranted!

I asked for it. The game style is based on 16th century Europe and I see a lot of Italian Rennaissance vibes. It makes sense to have some sort of gunpowder class.

Maybe they should use the classname "Marksman" or "Sharpshooter" or "Deadshot" instead of gunslinger? I think gunslinger is more synonomous with 19th century american cowboys.

Like if they are at least magic guns itd fit the game. A female sage that uses some kind of ancient weapon thats basically a gun for example could be a thing.

Please dont just be "heres marnis new invention, the AK 47"

For real. I'd love some magical element added to the concept. Like an ether gun/cannon or something that I've seen in the Xenoblade games.

I doubt they would go for a purely mechanical/modern design. They will most likely be some kind of hextech-esque weapon, especially since Ancient Weapons in lore are basically that. It could even be Ancient Weapon tech + Marni tech together.

This. Guns are everywhere: Gahaz, Pirates, Calpheon fighting the trolls, our own hunting rifles, Corsair class. Firearm history goes far further back even in China. The first fire lances were used as early as 950 A.D., hand cannons appeared as early as 1287 A.D.

If PA do this right, it'll fit in very well. There's a lot of different handheld gunpowder weapons by the 16th century, which BDO feels most like.

Well, if koreans are asking for it, no matter what we say here. It'll happen anyway, alongside with the current bugs.
