I just found out about Xigncode being installed on the global labs. Removing Xigncode was one of the things PA got right when they took over publishing from Daum. Xigncode interferes with and closes unrelated programs, such as usenet news readers. Wellbia will not whitelist programs. They don't even ask for the signature.
If BDO cannot coexist with other programs on my computer, then I will not and can not play it. Your business model seems to encourage AFK playing, but that is not possible if Xigncode is installed. I will quit the game if you switch this anticheat to production.
And since every minute of playtime from now until you install Xigncode in some upcoming patch is wasted time, I'm quitting today, until you commit to NOT changing the anticheat to Xigncode.

XIGNCODE is extremely poor, unprofessional code. The popups it generates look like malware from 1998. Not only is the software a gross invasion of user privacy, it cannot even be trusted to do its job properly and not damage files or send sensitive user data to unknown locations.

People do know xigncodes useless as a anti cheat only good as a anti vpn... Thats why it checks every file on your pc... Well logging it all to keep with upcomming /new vpns also records key strokes... Xigncode is known for false positives and very rarely catches cheaters/bots/speedhackers. The fact it collects data an keeps it outside of sending it to pa... Well we dont know what happens to the data xigncode has after that im guessing its simlar to how ads work but worse.
The other issues like cpu overhead an even ram overhead is insane with it, which makes denuvo look not bad...
The cpu handle leak( someone spoke of) is inherent to suboptimal coding of bdo in general(as you can still check task manager to see this occurring) also has a memory leak that isnt seen in task manager but is seen in resource monitor...
Main issue is all around worse than EAC.
Handle leak is caused by BDO engine and not because of anticheat. So that will stay with us till the end of this game.
Not sure how BDO will perform with Xigncode, but hopefully we won't have as many crashes as before with it. Also curious about GDRP compliance for EU ... will see if that ever comes to live servers.

Is XIGNCODE illigal in the EU? I don't see how it can comply with our GDPR laws, if its as bad as everyone says.

Considering I know Archeage has been using it in NA/EU for the last 2 years, I highly doubt it is illegal, and cannot comply with GDPR.

I can tell you how it used to perform with xigncod3 when Kakao published. It performed much worse than it ever did with EAC post service transfer.
