Calpheon Ball 2023 was disappointing imo. Most were just Qol changes....the rest was lackluster. We get another female class yay and we get an extended lease on running in circles while killing monsters for many more years to come and failing our enhancements. I'm sure that sounds like something every player is looking forward to experiencing. Just when you thought you got out of the loop of all that, J throws you right back in. 

This is probably it for me, not sure what I'd play after this. Probably nothing. I can't justify spending any money on a live service that does not listen to its players. And playing a Succ Nova just makes it even worse. 

how dare you to question PA, masters of handjob. just look what great updates they make in last few weeks. e.g. they doubled loot from rift bosses then they halfed number bosses. aren't you happy? back and forth, back and forth

QoL is always welcome, but it shouldn't be considered 'big' in any way or form. PA is fixing issues that accumulated over years which were result of how they were handling the game.

Simplification and overall making game easier/cleaner is also nice. Especially that there's a lot of filler to waste players time (travel, different mats doing similar thing, etc).

New class is med. It's nothing new, not exciting and there's nothing bold in the design. We have seen it many times already with other similar classes. Just few ideas from top of my head: male dwarf, female druid, shapeshifting blood mage, male 'shai' summoner, demi-human shaman... they could do literally anything, but they choose safe bet.

Finally: game is boring. There's nothing to do, and I mean actuall enjoyable content. OW PvP died and nobody cares about wars anymore, there's no group PvE content worth time (I mean PvE not puzzle), and there's nothing new on horizon. They announced next step in power creep which is FG weapons, but why even bother if there's nothing to do with it?

Grind Dekhia more efficiently so I can get more money to grind Dekhia more efficiently to get more money to grind... what is the point anymore?

You really want me to care about more j hammers to fail 2 more times? Or another op class? Or more instanced zones?

Most people currently playing have already picked it up anyway, so they probably don't care.
Secondly, the goal of the game is to get a T10 horse, but it is extremely difficult, so the fact that they give you a T9 horse doesn't change anything because you still have to get a second T9 horse (I tried = 24 failures so I simply bought 2 more (but what's the point of a game where you buy items such as T9 horses?)) and then a T10, for which materials are limited and absurdly expensive. I don't want to count it now, but one tap for T10 costs at least 500m.

There is never any point to playing video games except having fun. If you are no longer having that fun you just play something else, I guess.
