Hello, as we all know crystals breaking is one of the most annoying things in the universe, it doesnt help that there's now 15 or so 300+ap zones most of which was added recently, some of which have mechanincs to learn, usually the hard way which can beovercome by testing with budget crystal setup but that doesn help when you dc or desync, i myself have lost some 2-3bil in crystal due to connection issues which is extremely frustrating, ive starting using shadowplay to record and have a pending inquiry so we'll see how that goes.

Anyway, what i would suggest instead is that instead of breaking, the crystal cracks and falls out of its socket, you can even diable some of its effect, and then if you wanna take the risk and socket it again, it now can break completely. The cracked crystal can be repired at a blacksmith in a town (not tent) with or without a repair item such as black stone powder or a new item entirely.

I believe this will adequately discourage players from monster zones they are not yet ready for and make them leave the area to fix their crystals, and also prevent the phenomenon where a 4billion girins tear is suddenly lost cause the client didnt have a connection to your pc for 1 second.

Other solutions could be a special crystal u can equip which will break, or if you die you dont lose crystals but get a debuff for some time when crystal will break for sure if you die again.

The crystal break themselves due to reckless behavious or simply being to lazy to learn mechanics is not really the problem, the main issue is server desync and connection disruptions where everything seems normal, then the screen will sudeenly go black then 2 seconds later back in the game being completely helpless and blameless, looking at your dead character and lost crystal

Yes, you are correct. I do, however, want to address the elephant in the room: KR gets this stuff first. You are willingly risking your crystals without due diligence of looking into mechanics of a spot. Desynces and disconnects are one issue, but figuring out a spot is not the excuse non-KR get.

Well figuring out a spot can be done without expensive crystals or simply having no crystal while you learn mob behaviour, patterns and mechanics, but once you have all that down and now know what you are doing, you are still at risk of losing billions despite doing everything right due to techincal issues you have no control over, its this risk that should be removed somehow.
