Understandable; but that again is why you put in the chase items in exchange for shards; high shard count item exchanges that can be used or sold to other plays such as the carrack; which if im remembering right PA already said should be coming to being able to be sold in the Central market, so it could be still viable as a big sink for those who still want to use it as such.

You're not wrong, but they also put out new outfits pretty often. If you don't see value in dressing up your character, that's your prerogative. But don't act like your perspective is the only one. I for one like to have multiple outfits for my main and even some of my other favorites. It's not a set-it-and-forget-it for everyone out there. Plus this isn't just about outfits. It's also the idea of being able to melt down pieces for shards instead of crons so you're not just throwing outfit boxes into the void for crons.

what happens when carracks starts sitting then? 

costumes to cron is just too good for PA's profit

thats why i said "almost" everyone, and i don't think i am wrong in saying that almost every costume sold is not worn but rather melted down for crons.

no it definitely is just about outfits btw, this suggestion is about changing outfit from being melted into crons to something else

And there's always an influx of new players coming in who also end up leveling several characters, which would lead them to buying multiple outfits for multiple characters...

I don't see costumes ever sitting on the market...

just until recently, even with cron melting in the game, KR had thousands of costumes sitting in the market.

when the first price change hit back in 2020, costumes were sitting for a solid week in NA. every price change for the week of the change u can marketplace pvp for costumes because there werent enough preorders.

remove the biggest reason people buy crons and costumes are definitely going to sit. 

Flush out the list with enough good items and all players will have a good reason to exchange for something. It gives options for those who want them. Ofcourse the Carrack is just a single item, but what happens if that list has each carrack, Each armor peice of that carrack, etc? It would take a long time for any singular player to burn though collecting it all, and if they do, so be it, there are others out there who'd want to do it in their place to get a chase goal done.

ofcourse, there is always the original part where they could exchange shards back into other outfits, or silver instead; but the same can be said about the current system, what happens when a player hits endgame and doesn't need crons anymore? Sometimes they still buy them or boxes just for new enhancing sessions, or stacking for later. This system could be applied the same way; perhaps even items could rotate based on seasons, events, or etc. I dont know if there'd be a case where all items could completely sell out and just sit on the market if the price was set well enough when implemented. It's a optional exchange; not a replacement for the original method of making  or procuring a item. :)

Did you have any other critique other than Pa's bottom line though? I do want to keep things on track if that is the only case; there's no point in doing 3 pages of banter over it if that is; the point is well made and documented at this point. (respectfully ofcourse.)

again good ideas and anything agains this cron epidemic is good, but have to be realistic and look at the idea on the pov of PA

would this idea be better than just costume melting for cron for sales? chase items are cool but it all boils down to progression which i believe is where most of their money comes from and theres nothing worst for the players and better for PA than crons
