Suggestions/Comments: 
As discussed in the previous Calpheon Ball, can we please move lifeskill levels to be Family Wide instead of Character Specific? 
Example: I can overnight horse train on one character for years and have Guru training level, and relog to another character that I cannot even auto use sprint on. This does not make much sense. If I have the familiarity with that particular life skill, I should be able to apply it everywhere in the game.

This change would not hurt anyone who DOES have specific characters per life skill, they would still be able to do that if they choose to.

And here I thought, it's already decided that family wide lifeskills are coming sooner or later, or has the final decision about that not been made yet? In that case, I'd like to point out that there's also a few disadvantages:

- First off, while it would not hurt "anyone who DOES have specific characters per life skill", it would still be a slap in the face of everyone who trained more than one character for a certain life skill (for convenience or for life fame). Their time and work would be for naught.

- Speaking of life fame, it would also mean that some folks would lose quite a lot when their current ammount of life fame was reached by several characters' lifeskill level adding up.

- Some may also have spent real money for skill transfer coupons that would have been all in vain as well. 

Then, even if you have all life skill levels family wide, gear's still a factor. Sure, you can pass it around (most of it anyway), but that's not really convenient either. Maybe a better solution for your auto-sprint example would be to just make auto-sprint independent of the training skill. I don't see a reason why riding speedily from one point to another should be tied to the training life skill. Just make sprint available to everyone who's got a horse with the appropriate skill and a saddle.

Did they even tell us how they will do it? They could merge all exp and now every char has access to it. The could keep both the individual life fame and your chars all have access to your highest lvl you had on any char.

If they get rid of indivual fame some will be mad so I don't think they will do that.

If they merge all exp but don't increase guru cap no issues.

But if they merge and increase Guru cap then the game had to keep track of anyones exp over guru 50 and put people at higher guru lvls based on that. Not start everyone at 50 when someone may have been cooking past guru 50 for years and someone could of just hit guru 50.

Lots of issues with advantages of that guy gathering on 20 alts with a massive energy pool advantage over the guy who only used 1 char to think of too.

I'll wait till they announce how before start worrying about it.

Also, rather than make life skills family-wide, why not just make the effects?  If you get to Artisan training on one character, which is no small feat, at least it was two years ago when I got there, why not let everyone in the family be able to auto-sprint?

Professional 1 needed for autorun sprint. Tame 15-20 horses, depending on buffs (you don't need much, if any).  Done.

I don't want any lifeskill "merging" or sharing at all.  As usual, the "leave it alone" folks are not going to be as vocal as those wanting change.  The whole "feedback" approach here suffers from that.

Besides, the consolidations and "simplifications" have little to do with player satisfaction.  That is a secondary justification rolled out to cover for the game (data) hosting and maintenance cost reduction.  They then turn to these forums, where you can find a thread fo just about any type of change imaginable, point to that, and say "see? we did something you asked for!".

They have also made many changes that are unannounced and/or unrequested, some very visible, some not.  The music and walking systems were a couple of early casualties.  In retrospect, those have the same root in reducing the game's footprint on the servers and in the bandwidth they must support.

is there any news if they would uncap the Guru50 /2k mastery Limit on this change?
