So are you going to make Tier-6's affordable to new players ?

Because you are making this your new starter level.

They are probably going to tell players to capture new horses...

and then ban a bunch of us for NEEDING to use a spacebar macro due to medical issues (carpal tunnel, joint pain, arthritis, hand injury, etc)

Or those who simply rather use a macro than risk carpal tunnel.

They should have fixed the horse minigame if they wanted every player to have access to higher tier horses. Instead, they remove the horses we have.

I used a appearance change coupon on my first horse, a tier 1, and a name change, and I like some of the appearances of the tier 5s better than all the tier 7s and possibly the tier 8s, so I'm in favor of elevating the tiers with no elimination of appearances. There already is a scarcity of good appearances for those of us who just want some serviceable horses that we love. Horses are not reform stones. Also, the horse capturing currently is very boring due to the lack of variety of breeds in the wild, and taking out all the lower tier horses will make horse breeding even more boring than it currently is. I've only seen 1 tier 6 from breeding that isn't out in the wild and it happens to be, IMHO, the most attractive T6. The T7s and T8s are 90% very boring too. I like the surprise of getting a good looking horse from breeding. I only bought my tier 1 an appearance change to make it look like a horse I had in another game. I don't have a big breeding operation, but training and breeding is 80% of what I do in the game, and it's not to get T8s or dream horses...I just like riding horses more than grinding in spite of very little silver in it. I have been keeping a lot of my horses rather than delivering them, so I guess that will be different this week.

I feel like PA doesn't realize (or forgot) that some of us do horse breeding because we actually find it enjoyable. It's not just a stepping stone to reach T9 and T10 (which honestly brings on more negative emotions than regular horse breeding ever did). I miss the early days of playing this game and being interested in what horse I might get from breeding. Now I only get the same horses and they're not even the T8s I like because they more or less replaced them. T7 already doesn't exist in the game for me. I rarely get T8 Females so everytime I get a T8 male I have to breed it with a T6 female I tamed for the daily. This gives me a 100% at a T8. Rinse and repeat cycle. Breed T8 + T6 = T8. There IS NO T7. For me, T7 has already been removed from the game. And yeah, on one hand thats a good thing "don't you want T8s" yeah of course. It's not about losing T7 (and T5 and under too) It's about losing the variety and patterns, the horses we love. To make matters worse WHY are the patterns that they are keeping are the LEAST NATURAL. The red horses, the blue horses, the fricken green. PA wth are you doing? You have such amazing patterned horses and THESE are the ones you choose to keep?! They didn't want to add dancing gestures to BDO because it wasn't "immersive enough" but somehow red, blue, and green horses are more immersive than the other horses they've made.

I'm so tired of being disappointed by this game. Woke up today to find my wagon once again not looping, what a surprise. Did a T10 attempt b4 I went to sleep, fail again. What a surprise.

I wish I didn't care about that T4 and that this change didn't have to matter to me. The first time I swapped from that T4 to a T6 Courser I literally sat there being frustrated that I didn't just bond with a higher tier horse first because thats how much I didn't want to leave it behind. I was like "why did you put yourself in this position to be upset?" I bonded with it because it was the first horse I trained skills on, it had impact and meaning to my entire BDO life. It's what kept me here long enough to find more reasons to keep playing.

My mistake. Again.

PA is trying to kill this game.

Plain and simple.

They've taken all the variety and beauty that made this game special, and they're ruining it.

They're trying to fit us into that one-track-sprint towards.............. I don't know exactly.

Enjoying the ride really isn't happening anymore.

Thanks, PA.

Yeah, horse training/taming/breeding is a thing of the past it seems. That's the only lifeskill I enjoyed. I too liked breeding the horses just to see what I'd get. Leveling and breeding tier 5 was the quickest. I used to like the dream horses, not so much now. Considering they came at the expense of all of the other mounts in the game; regular horses, camels, donkeys, and elephants. I too wish they'd remove all of the unnatural and quite frankly ugly horse colors and patterns. There are many natural colors and patterns to choose from. Myself and others have posted feedback threads about this very thing to no avail. I wanted them to overhaul their regular mounts for the sake of variety. Instead they start removing the lower tiers...it's a blatant slap in the face. They're making it very clear that they have NO intention of working on the other mounts in the game. They only care about the dream and mythical mounts. Well good, they can keep them. I'll use donkeys, camels, and elephants until they too are removed. I also have Heilang.

Exactly how I'm starting to feel. I main tamer (and always will) specifically for Heilang. Came back from quitting 4 years (t10 related reason for quitting, shocker. I was upset I would have to merge my T9s into a single horse, it was frustrating when I was bonded to those individual horses too that I awakened myself. Made me question why I was here and I finally pushed myself to leave). Came back to find they changed Heilang's name, another reason to be upset. I ride the first donkey they gave out for Shai even though they've done basically nothing with them since then and more or less punish you for riding it instead of a horse.  I feel like they forgot Shai's donkey exists. They didn't even raise their lvl like other horses as far as I can tell so I can't even ride it and gain passive training exp. One of the reasons I can't motivate myself to play my Shai even though I originally wanted to.

It's like PA doesn't understand fun content anymore. They only understand "work towards that RNG disappointment". Why? You guys gave out T9 for free to everybody who obviously didn't have one cuz they didn't care to (cuz they could have easily bought one on the market...). They want everybody working on getting those T10s...

If I'm not allowed to bond with my horses because PA will keep making ways to lose them, then I have less reason to care about the game as a whole and less reason to stick around. It is in being attached to things in this game that makes me play, that makes me spend money here. If being attached is just a means to be upset over and over then why play.

Yeah, my Hash has a donkey because of who he is.  He'll walk, when they talk that away from him.  Who knows?  I might quit the day they do that.

I've said it before, but I really like the Shai donkeys. They look the best in my opinion, due to their details (eyes and texture). When they came out I was excited, because I thought that meant they'd upgrade the current donkeys in the game and maybe even allow you to breed them. But of course that didn't happen. I don't care about gear, season gear works just fine for me. I care about immersion. Exploring what makes each class unique and expand on it. Such as Heilang for Tamer and Banha for Mystic. Exploring the dragon aspect of Drakania. Expanding on and exploring the mermaid aspect of Corsair. Realistic mounts (looks and behaviour). Interacting with pets. Sadly PA cares about NONE of those things.

Yeah, my characters will explore the world on foot as well before I cave and use a horse. Considering what they're doing. I also refuse to use a mount of any kind on Drakania because she's a DRAGON. It seems weird to ride a mount. Plus it just wouldn't make sense, I would think Drakania would make the mounts nervous. Which would also make them harder to tame. I wish her 'Dragon Flight' ability completely take the place of a mount. Like a t4 or something. She wouldn't be able to engage in combat for obvious reasons. But it'd be an immersive way to travel. Like 'travel form' for druid from WoW. It'd also be nice if she could glide...

I'll quit for sure if they make it to where I can no longer ride Heilang.

This honestly scares me :/ I'm already sad that they made it where I can't make him lie down anymore. (Or if you can I haven't figured out how since I returned in December.)
I always hated that HP glow that appeared on you when he lied down since it was immersion breaking. I just wanted to be able to have him lay down sometimes without the glow, instead they removed the ability for him to lie down entirely? I still have a photo somewhere of him lying down with my original T4 X.X
