I simply am not going to participate in PvP in BDO, why? CC should NOT mean WIN, I don't know of any PvP game that does this, even when I play LoL CC does not mean you kill the player.

I want to see real skill in PvP not just CCing someone and then they can finish you off cause you can't break out of their CC. What kind of stupid mechanic is this? Show me skill for PvP not CC alone to win against someone.

Until I see real changes in the whole concept of PvP on BDO I'm going to refuse.

How is 'CC' ANY skill, you get someone to CC then you finish them, gee how fun PvP is, sorry NOT. It's comments like this that re-enforce my view that PvP in BDO is total crap and I'll be better not participating in it in this current form, if someone force PvPs me, I'll run away. You're not going to CC to kill me and win. I refuse to be humilated by stupid mechanics.

I haven't played leeg in years, but it should haha. It means you either cc'd the wrong person or your team wasn't ready. CC being win in 1v1 is pretty wack. CC is pretty controversial with how long you can get put out of commission, but it the damage is what is out of control, if you're talking about 1v1, and if you're talking about team fight, CC is like an extra layer beyond focus fire. In a lot of games team pvp, hitting someone with just a slow is enough to kill them. That's how fast paced combat works, but I agree in regards to 1v1, for sure. Unfort, it's hard to fix? Prol impossible now.

in Leeg, not so much anymore on CC, but in BDO 1v1 CC should *never* decide who wins *IF* it's only CC that wins the PvP.

Remove resistances and add proper dimishing returns, while also removing multi-hit CC's.

Then you will never kill anyone in 1v1. If you will not CC someone and 1 combo him, he will just run away refill HP bar and return and this will last forever. You have protections, SA, FG tbh if u play correctly your class is protected for 90% time of the fight. If u want to pvp you must know class in and out, to do it you must play pvp and lose 1000 times. There is no otherway. PvP in this game is very hard in compare to other games tbh. New players enter AoS or NW, enter fight get CCd and die 3 times in a row.

mm dunno haha. Just being real. It's definitely harder than outsiders think. I am sure people think this is a meme korea game and there is a lot going on, but the fact remains that you could macro your whole combo and wait in 'protection' to unleash it.

It's solid pvp worthy of the title (and unfort the gear / class / etc imbalance kind of ruins it, but all things being equal, it's got some skill for sure,) but I dunno if BDO pvp is even more intense than LoL but I played that a long time ago.

Games I've played pvp in that are similar: leeg, Guild Wars 1, Mortal Online...  I play sports games, too, but that's different. I don't think BDO is some masterclass. Grab is also crazy in a game so focused on protections. I personally think it would be a lot cooler if they worked on CC AND protections.

Most people tend to think stuff like 'being protected 90% of the time' makes the game more complex (having to make sure you are,) but otoh, I think it's kind of counter-intuitive, less protection would make the game harder, as with less CC.

This would also open up the 1v1. People running away could be a problem, but I am succ ranger and A. nobody can get away from me without V, and even then if I didn't think like lul this dude used v, I'd still prol get em. and B. I can get away from a lot of people by just putting my weapon away and running. Many classes, I have learned, have long range stuns haha. Sure w/ classes who have a bunch of SA and such (again, too much protection, too much cc imo) it's different.

My 2c. Dude isn't wrong, and the game would actually be better if they reworked stuff a little. 1v1 is pretty intense, but it could be more intense between two good 1v1 classes IF there was more ability to get in and out and 'survive' instead of just porting around then going in for the cc and hoping for the best.

With healing at the level it's at, you can not remove "CC=Win" or no fight would ever end.  There is so much that would be needed in order to make PvP work if you removed CC = Win.  

Well then, I guess its a flawed PvP system then, but they could nerf healing when in PvP mode, cooldowns change etc. No reason they can't do that even with infinite HP/MP potions, they become nerfed the moment PvP occurs.
