My guess is that you put about as much energy into BDO as you do into your Marriage and that is Lacklustre. You complain about PVP and that you hate BDO becouse of it, i would agree becouse after a year and 2 months of playing you have a total of 7 char's and not a one of them over lv 59 you have a witch as your profile pic but in fact your main is a SHAI and thats saying a lot cuz your attempt at life skilling is worse than your non completionist attitude that i am guessing your wife nags at your lazy ass for.

The sad part is that your wife wears bigger pants and shoe's than you do and i am guessing you cry to her about life not being fair and its why your always stepped on. How she stays with a Beta male such as yourself is beyond me, maybe credit or some family money who knows but i am guessing she fills her life with excitment that you would never be able to show her and yah those kids are most likly not yours....

There is always hope you can at least pick a character and do the questline you never attempted and get to 61 in a matter of hours, show your wife that you actually have a set of ballz and maybe half ass attempt to get some gear other than oasis and capotia you got for free instead of spending your life complaining just how unfair it is becouse you were too stupid to even try a SEASON that gave you a PVE only for 3 months at a time.

ABSOLUTLY LAZY AND DISCUSTING

Not like he is going to pay attention to it anyway, its what happens when your account gets banned and you got nothing better to do in life than be a forum troll on a game you dont even play...  i think Chaos and me been hollering that for a while its nice to actually see others saying it as well.

I can promise you that the moment that make a PvE server and you get grinded over and over again in your zone and you can do nothing to stop that griefing, you will call back for PvP to be turned back on.

Every topic about wanting PvE servers ends up with salt and drama... Even reaching worse levels. This is no different. Still people fail to realize, this game is not designed for PvE. When I was playing on the season servers, I began to understand of the major CONs that tell why a PvE server is NOT a good idea. Many times the reasons were stated and I will try to state them even now... Again.

1) XP is shared. The more you invite into groups, the less XP you get.

2) If somebody else comes to your place to kill your mobs in your rotation, he/she just hinders your own farming, waiting for a mob respawn. And sometimes this person pretends I am not there. If I could turn on PvP just to almost PK him(or worse), I would just tell him to cease.(In a season server I developed a different strategy for levelling).

3) PvE-ers say that only the PvPers are toxic. That is incorrect. Even the PvErs are toxic. How? By killing the mobs in your rotation and don't care about the one farming them. In worse cases the same person tells you to f. off. Excuse me. If I read this, I am turning on PvP and PKing you without mercy. So stop defending PvE with your empty words and repeating one and same thing over and over like a brain-dead monkeys with short memory.

4) If there is a way to punish the one griefing on you-do it as you see fit. PvP is NOT bannable, since it's part of the game. Nor it's going to be ever. If one is griefing you by any way and you're in a PvE server, how are you going to deal with him/her? You just can't.

5) Imagine if 10+ people farm mobs on your favourite spot or other ones you know already. What are you going to do to level up effectively with your boosts on? Or if many players suddenly come to your XP farming place? What then? Change server? What if the same is even there? 15 min. CD for nothing.

Conclusion. PvE servers are going to be quite flawed and they won't be as good as you think. Try to read and understand the problems first. Nobody is trying to even create a healthy discussion, but rather measure their things about who's right and who's not. Nobody reads to the already written. That is your own problem. Seriously. Everybody who reads this and if he/she has some brain in the head, he might realise the reality.

At the end of the day adding a few permanent PvE channels is not going to change anything for regular players since is something that already happens when seasons are active.

Well, not totally true, there is a chance that the whole "karmabombing problem" will get a bit better since the players likely to do it will go to PvE by default. To be honest, the only ones loosing here are the wannabe PvPers in need of easy prey. Another pro could be AFK players going to PvE servers to stay AFK.

Anyway, I don't think PA will add PvE servers, after all the only reason that we have force PvP is to push the need to improve gear, and with that need some will spend money one way or another. However, you never know, after all they got rid of XP loss and horse death penalty (both things were monetised) because was driving away players. NA/EU are the biggest market for BDO and those regions are PvE oriented.

If you dislike the forced PvP your best option is leave. If enough people do it PA is more likely to give you what you want.

You're gonna pvp so stay on pvp servers xD it's not that deep for either side imo, so who cares. That's the thing to me.  We, the consumers, are not the game's developers.  The game devs need to consider player wants and weigh that against if such change would actually be beneficial to the game as a whole.  There's an interesting article I read that explains how "players cannot be trusted to make a game more fun (ie: "better")" because "players often request changes to make a game easier - easiness and fun ("better") are not directly correlated.  Also, I'm a PVX player.  I enjoy virtually all aspects of this PVX game for about 3.5 years.  I'll link it under this reply box.

Becasue full-on PVE isn't how BDO is "supposed" to be.  This is stated by the devs, "PVE server does not fit the vision for this game", something they've said numerous times, ad nauseum to PVE only requests.  BDO's design doesn't support it well, as evidenced by Season.  I could explain more, if you're genuinely insterested.

Yes, on the surface, this blanket statement can hold up.  But please do not ignore the finer details.  BDO is known to be, and marketed as, a "niche" "sandbox" MMO.  It does have many elements that promote team-play, but yes, BDO is much more focsued on individual agency than other MMO's that force you to rely on grouping.  BDO, you can choose to group (group grind zones, GVG's, Node War), or do it all solo with nothing holding you back.  I can explain more if you're genuinely interested, you sound like a new player, likely coming from themepark mmo's.  Also they're introducing a new BDO-style dungeon this year.  Should be interesting.  If it does well, expect more to come.

But instead what I think will happen is PVP players will switch to PVE servers when they want to grind instead of being the PVP player they claim to be~

BDO is PVP, PVE, Lifeskill, AFK, RP, etc. rolled into one, seamless, game experience.  By removing PVP, even from one server, is a literal nerf to the game.  Being said, IF the devs decide that a PVE only server is best for BDO then I'd hope it's a decision made with much forethought, planning and consideration to the overall state of the game by the development team.

But does spending real cash actually help with in game gear and stuff? >.>Cause from what I know not much you can get from MP to boost gear. So what would people be spending for in shop gear wise? Outfit wise, I'm all there lol, but gear? idk about that one

   Hello and first off I am sorry to tell you, but I have no p;ans to support the game any longer with my money.  I play because my wife enjoys the game, however, I hate it.  I understand the love of PvP but when you are on a main road and are not afk while riding your horse and get killed instantly because some player loves to make everyone elses life hard, then the game has a problem that you have not addressed.  I will say I hate PvP now die to the fact I have actually had a personality change while PvPing.  I would love to see either PvE only servers or a PvP system like BnS where you have to wear a specific outfit to be flagged for PvP.  This whole idea of kill anyone you want, even if they are not flagged for PvP and are not doing anything to anyone is terrible.  I'm not saying do away with PvP, but give PvE players a safe and fun enviroment to play as well.
