Took a break after the Mystic Awakening got "buffed/reworked" and just straight up got bored, especially after trying out Scholar and being completely uninterested.

I think the singular most interesting update/rework I've seen was when they buffed the Valencia Zones, this is legit a turning point for BDO -> But then it just all fell off from there.

The new classes are interesting for other people/casuals and new players that log in once a day for freebies, but everyone else it's just annoying because you want that next new "main" or when you want to play an interesting class -> get weight gapped from 2k max weight on your main to a new toon with like 700 weight lol.

It was such a disappointment to hear that the "class protection" reworks wasn't going to go through. I feel like the vocal minority of "imaginary" PvPers were highlighted the most and they all just wanted to keep abusing meta classes. That and PA was most likely agreeing just so they can keep doing the constant cycle of "new class -> more sales" approach.

But hey what do we know, when everyone is constantly stuck "playing around" the 5-10 meta classes (there are 25+ classes and specs in the game).

Just recently today I just randomly hopped onto the steam forums just to take a peek at whats going on, or even browsing through various BDO videos on Youtube.. there really isn't much going on. Seems like after they pushed for War of the Roses or whatever, forgot about it and moved on to the next "Quality of Life" update that should have happened 4-5 years ago.
