My connection is still coming from West Coast, even though I'm on East - Even with 1.2+ Gbps download, and <10ms ping to the ISP, it means almost *nothing*, when the latency is bottle necked getting to the Servers.

I've been in so many situations where the game will just glitch me into a pillar at lower Gyfins, or you rubberband at top of the hour in Oluns, and you take retro-active damage.

Should I pay for deaths caused by lack of server stability, or for not having a server closer to East Coast?

There is a line you can cross, when it comes to companies making money. This isn't Enhancing, where you're trying to better yourself. This is you trying to get back things you lost.

This is something that should not have been sold, and is doing the exact opposite of what the community wanted and needs.

Nope - and anymore support will just tell you to use the in-game restore functions.

Had a friend also die going into Marni realm, at lower gyfin, even though you're not supposed to teleport when you're not 100% health.

Because he died on spawn, support said a mob killed him before teleporting, so they won't restore his crystals

...and just disregarded the fact you can't teleport with damage taken, so it's still technically a bug.

Oof. That sucks. Then I might have a change of heart on this matter. I've died because of lag, like you're talking about... but never lost crystals when it happened. When I've asked others, in game, about the 'what if' of possible crystal loss, they've said that PA had restored their's. I took their word for it - maybe they lied? I don't know.

If they DON'T restore crystals as a result of lag-death, then this is definitely -as others have said- a problem created only to be solved by the players paying for it through the cash shop.

PA doesn't understand losing crystals feel punative against a player who dies; its punishment to the injury of dying.  Then they want to charge you a fine with real money to recover your crystals?  Feels even more punative.

So basically they saw that a lot of players were dying due to them adding obscene dp reqs at higher end zones and thought: wow; let's monetize that!

Not meaning to flex but I was the 2nd sale for the flame on the central market 💪

I was like within the first 50 for the flame of Hongik... when the flame came out for the shoes, I was like "Piece of cake!"... here I am like 5 months later :p . While I put in an order for the flame, I also bought put orders in for the embers. I'm on 96 embers, so I'll just cancel my flame order soon and get 10 billion back.
