Global pearl section in central market

Pearl Abyss could level the playing field by making the Pearl section of the Central Market global instead of regional. As an EU player, it's frustrating to see my chances of snagging pearl items significantly lower compared to players that for example play from NA or Asian regions. It feels like we're missing out on opportunities and perpetuating inequalities within the game.

A global Pearl section would solve these issues, ensuring everyone has fair access to pearl items regardless of where they play. Plus, it would put an end to memes like 'EU crons,' which poke fun at the imbalance between regions.

It's time for Pearl Abyss to step up and create a more equitable gaming experience for all players, regardless of where they're logging in from.

I'm pretty sure many of the eu deboreka enhancers are enjoying the hammers on marketplace right now, but players that don't have debos yet are still struggling with vendor crons or gearing up through the marketplace to get their blackstars and fallen gods, PA can and should make it right.

If Pearl items go global, everything needs to go global.

That's one way to view the situation, it seems fair. However, if you view it from the perspective of a player who plays in a region that has a steady supply of Pearl items, they would feel robbed. The chances of successfully puchasing a Pearl item would drop astronomically as there are only a few regions that conrtibute to the Pearl market.

By attempting to satisfy one region at the cost of disatisfying several others is a poor decision.

NA Costume snipers

the sellers are usually just trying to make a profit and sell their stuff quickly. they don't really care where the buyer is, as long as they're making a sale. opening up the pearl market globally could actually help sellers, giving them more potential buyers and speeding up sales. sellers are more likely to support changes that make the market more efficient and profitable, rather than worrying about specific regions or buyers.

getting possessive over sellers in certain regions shows a bigger problem in the gaming world: some places have a bunch of big spenders, or "whales," giving them a big advantage. this highlights the unfairness in the current setup. regions with lots of whales naturally have a stronger in-game economy for fancy items like costumes. but this makes it tough for players in other areas who don't have the same access to cool stuff. they end up struggling to compete in the market or get the things they need for the game.

holding onto the idea of regional advantages just keeps the bdo world unfair, with some places having way more power and control over how fast they gear up through the market. switching to a global pearl market could fix this by giving everyone the same chances to buy stuff. it's about making things fairer for all players, no matter where they are or how much their region's players spend.

Sounds like entitlement ..

Also how does NA "pearl advantage" cause other regions issues...

the NA "pearl advantage" doesn't directly cause issues for other regions, and although NA might spend more it doesn't mean costumes just sit on the market. instead, it's more about recognizing that different regions have varying levels of access to in-game resources. when a region, like NA and many others, has a "surplus" of pearl items, it can create challenges for players in regions with fewer resources by leading to disparities in pricing and overall gameplay experience (for example EU getting heavily shafted by the costume price increases which also increased vendor cron price by 1 million silver)

the goal isn't to diminish the advantages of any particular region but rather to ensure a more balanced and equitable experience for players worldwide. transitioning to a global pearl market could help alleviate these disparities by providing equal opportunities for players from all regions to access and purchase items. it's about creating a level playing field where everyone has a fair shot at enjoying the game to its fullest potential, regardless of their geographical location.

you're quick to dismiss my concerns as entitlement, yet, the stance of many seems to hinge on one main point: you don't want your gear progression costs to soar to the level of players in regions where vendor crons are the norm. however, the reality is that in regions like EU, where costume availability on the market is scarce (be it because it's more populated, has a more hardcore player base, or simply due to smaller wages with expensive pearl items), players are compelled to purchase  vendor crons, which ultimately inflates their gear progression expenses.

I mean why not have the whole market be global then...?

Otherwise kind of seems like entitlement.

If NA market is still like it use to be we never have a surplass of pearl items everything was in pre order...

The one that had a tonne of costumes is KR always was like that as their pearl items seems to be cheaper than all other regions , unless that changed conversion to KR an then converting to pearls worked out quite a bit cheaper before.

Its either all items or none when it comes to a global market. Not just pearls.

If Pearl items go global, everything needs to go global.

This. Pearls items are an integral part of the economy. The entire marketplace would have to be merged together.
