2018 and 2019 were PA's most profitable years.  And OWPVP was still alive and well.  Since then, profits trended down until 2022 when it took a nose dive into the negative (losing money).  Maybe this is what scared them, the reason they essentially removed OWPVP from the game, because they wanted to appeal to casuals and new players, they listened to Reddit who are all new players, listened to the vocal minority, and listened to their shareholders and CEOs who don't even play the game.  They didn't listen to veterans who were suggesting core fixes.  They set veterans to the side, in the back burner, chasing that new money, but where did it bring them?  Where are they currently?  I tried to find 2023 - 2024 numbers, but can't find them.  Do us a favor and find 2023 - 2024 profits or revenue graph, since you're the one claiming they're "bringing in financial success" like you said.  I don't believe you.  Because I did find a brief overview of their income statement, at least.

Net income in 2023, hey, at least they aren't in the negative like 2022, right?  /s  Look at their operating income in 2023 -- Negative.  Operating income is a company's profit after deducting operating expenses. Wages, depreciation, cost of goods sold, etc.  They were in the negative last year -- THE YEAR THEY REMOVED FORCED FLAGGING IN OWPVP.

PA isn't exactly "growing" here.  I am not saying killing OWPVP directly caused them not growing or suffering financially.  But you're claiming that OWPVP directly caused a financial and game popualtion decline, but the actual numbers do not reflect your claim in the slightest.  SMH.

That is PA as a game company, where is BDO independent financial report? 

It includes bdo. The development time of crimson desert plus neglect of bdo is why this occured. I would expect that they lost even more money since the instability of players. Worse since the septemeber changes(annouced in the august) ,you can see by steam charts between august an october last year they lost 12k players not retaining any of the boost they got from june, july. Then you see November an December(christmas holidays) it spiked up then crash significantly after that. Each owpvp change corresponds with  them major drops. Also 4 months of bleeding players in a row hasnt happend since 2021 which shows they are messing up so bad people arent staying. If they hit 6 months of being negative on steam this would be worse than when kaokao was maintaing NA/EU.

They have been losing money on bdo it self aswell was in one of Js keynotes when talking to the shareholders a while ago. The issue is PA have no vision of bdo. As they limited staff on bdo an its not working out at all, for reference most of the staff are on crimson desert, even the other game sounds like it has limited staff to. Plus the massive outcry about crimson desert being single player i have the assumption that crimson desert wont even be single player an will turnout to be a instanced mmo. Wouldnt be supprised with all the comments being not great on the direction of it

Yep, they're going belly up. That's why they're trying to get what money they can (via quick cash grabs) before they pull the plug. That's probably also why they're downsizing the game (merging or outright removing things). As for the people that are putting money into this game yet (poor saps), I'm just waiting for the rug to be pulled out from under them. Happily I might add. =)

This. Failed OwPvPers here just make repetitive, boring, and misleading arguments about KS and PvP or game dying, while those are most often than not made up stories. When getting in trouble with their arguments, they pull out the KS card. Normal PvPers still have fun.

I grinded 2 flames from pities and 4 artifacts. Not a single time did anyone grind over me. Not a single time. Not a single. Without Marni. Always grinding on a buffed server and most often in prime time. But I got killed from behind by failed PvPers indeed more than 15 times for no reason at all. Not that this would make me sad, whatever, ignore. But please, tell me again how KS is a problem that requires having a red alt to rampage around, killing anyone anytime just because someone feels like it. Tell me at least 100 times. I might believe you then?

This, the connection some are trying to make between financial situation of PA and OwPvP changes is pure speculation. The same for player numbers. Most revenue in 2019, 19k average players. Now, 24k average players. That kinda does not work as an argument.

Why do you deliberately omit many other changes that were introduced into the game and that caused the outflow of players, such as increasing the price of crons from 2 to 3m?

And that's not all. For example, I know people who quit bdo because... after 3 months of constant grinding, they did not receive merchant ring part from oluns, and now the funniest part: these people have been playing since the premiere of bdo!!!
As you can see, there are a lot of reasons why players leave bdo, but it is definitely not the restriction of open pvp, on the contrary, the restriction of open pvp had a positive impact on the number of players, the best example of which is the season.
