As the game has changed in recent years being able to hide trade items on a 2nd character is not a desirable method to use as very few people actually move trade goods by hand and even less then think or care about the risk of losing them on death enough to want to cheese it by hiding a very small amount on their tagged character.
Meanwhile the restrictions hinder normal gameplay for people who do lifeskills on a tagged character. Especially the restrictions to store imperial cooking/alchemy and to store/sell fish make no sense. Being able to create trade goods/fish on a tagged character only for them to get stuck in their inventory with no way of using them without untagging is ridiculous.
In the game's current state there is nothing gained from being able to move trade items on a tagged character compared to moving them on a not tagged character, but the restrictions punish every player regardless.
My proposed solutions are:
-Remove the restriction entirely or
-if that's unwanted by the developer's design philosophy, change the restriction to limit trade items to one tagged character and prevent the other character from picking up/moving them while the 1st character carries any. This would treat the two tagged characters as one character in terms of trading ability.
This should apply to all non-backpack trade goods (fish, kermes beetles (if they still exist), margoria treasure, ancient coins, etc)
