Players who play BDO on PC with controller are experiencing a bug that causes them to crash to desktop every second time that they attempt to "respawn at nearest safe area".  This bug seems to be specifically affecting players who play using controller on PC using the controller and the controller UI.

This bug is reproduceable. It happens every time regardless of which zone or type of death (pvp or pve).  This bug did not exist last summer or fall (2023), but has persisted for many months now (all of 2024).

This bug makes many aspects of the game unplayable and/or incredibly expensive for controller accessibility players and is incredibly unfair since the only method to avoid a crash to desktop is to use one of the revive items which are sold in the pearl shop.

I spoke to Invicta Gaming while searching for a solution to this bug and they confirmed that over half a dozen other players have come to them hoping to find a solution to this problem but that it is a bug in the game itself, and no amount of optimization (other than not using controller) will resolve the issue.

Please raise the level of urgency for this issue, I know of at least two other people who have quit the game because of it.

I have a similar bug that happens almost every guild league.

Same, gamepad makes pvp unplayable.  2nd death Crashes to desktop.

So it's been gamepad UI this whole time, causing this crash the whole time. I've done almost every solution I could think of. Even Pearl abyss support couldn't help. I can't do any PvP content. It's really annoying

As of June 1st 2024 this issue is still happening.  Its even worse now because it is crashing to desktop on things like leaving Black Shrine too.  It seemed almost fixxed of about one week, had a strange error then was able to respawn in world pvp no problem, maybe 1 out of 10 deaths was a crash. But ever since the patch on the week of May 20th (2024), it has come back and now it's even worse.

Please prioritize this bug PA. Nothing you can do for controller UI is more needed than letting us actually play the game without constantly crashing.

So this still hasn't been fixed. Clearing ur cache is just a temp fix.
