I'm not here to criticize the game because I really enjoy it, but I want to draw attention to bartering.

Like many others, sometimes we want to do something different than grinding, and life skilling is a perfect alternative.

However, I am seriously questioning bartering and why even attempt this profession. I understand that life skilling is not meant to be as profitable as grinding, and that's not what people expect. But when it comes to bartering, not only is getting into bartering extremely long and tedious (even with the changes), the silver per hour is and remains extremely low.

Again, it's not supposed to be as profitable as grinding, but the difference is so significant that it's not even worth doing. The barter reset is a pain; instead of smoothly completing all your barters, you have to wait, at least if you want all 4 barter resets instead of 3. Then it takes 3 to 4.5 hours to complete them all, with an average of 1.5 billion over 4 resets, which is only about 375,000,000 per hour.

For comparison, with cooking, I make 220 million in 30 seconds just by buying meals and converting them into crates. As one of the many examples. 

I hope you take this seriously because it really needs to be much better, ideally doubling or even tripling the silver it currently yields.

Alternatively, double the weight of carracks so we can finish faster. Other more advanced barterers might have even better ideas but atm its not worth it.

Bartering and sailing are both very slow and all i am doing now is 1 barter reset just todo the sailing quest line a day to get sailing xp up and it take about 2 mouth toget one level of sailing xp from Master 8 to Master 9

I think it's important to consider that for bartering, we are not doing this AFK. If breezy sail is used for example, there is a 90%+ chance that the ship will get stuck and there's a much lesser chance if you don't use it but then it's quite slow. The autopathing for ocean content is atrocious and even if it does work, you will ikely be zig-zagging your way towards your destination, effectively wasting a lot more time and silver for feeding your sailors and ship repair if you get unlucky.

In the end, it's very little amount of silver/hour for being mostly engaged, not to mention that these ships cost a fortune not only in silver but also in time to build. Please make improvements for this!

agreed, i looked into sea stuff cause friends are into it. but when i saw how little money is made there, especially when u are just starting out....so not worth it to invest time in this skill
