I wouldn't mind if they eliminated +2 to +15 on gear and just started at base, go pri on first tap. No one will ever use 1-15 again in any serious context anyways. The only point of +2 to +15 is to build fail stacks. World bosses drop 20, 30, 40, and 50 stacks, we can use black stones to create +5 to +30 stacks. +2 to +15 no longer drops while grinding we get blackstone bundles and base weapon/armor boxes for green gear. It is sad to say but the +2 to +15 portion is there for nostalgia only, it annoys new players that can't afford to tap their Kzarka from Base to +15 in the first place, not that they need to because a Tet Blackstar is given to them for playing for an hour. +1 to +10 is fine for life skill gears on secondary objects IE Matchlocks or Horse armor.
Right now someone at PA is seeing this post and going "hmm, bet we can sell a 'click to PRI' token in the shop"
but yeah I agree, at this point it does nothing but waste time and a few memfrags
I agree with removing the +2 to +15 concept from the game.
It is a relic from a previous time and serves no real purpose in today's player progression.
For new players, it is an offputting and awakward experience to spam click enhance on their naru gear up to +15; there is no pride & accomplishment there it just feels "why am I doing this, what does this mean, why is the system like this?"
For veteran players, we are used to it but if we stop to think about it, we think it's silly.
You could change the blackstar quest requirements to include more material costs to make up for not requiring so many mem frags and concentrated stones to take a base blackstar up to PRI, but other than that nobody will miss those levels of enhancement for anything.
The present is built on the past. To get rid of everything is just sad. I respectfully disagree.
