I'm not sure if this has been posted about already, but I wanted to get this out there. Ever since the most recent patch ( June 19th 2024 ) with the number of hits reduction and the DR/EVA rework, Awakening Ranger feels slow. clunky and overall terrible to play, the issue seems to be that we can no longer animation cancel, which was essential to the class feeling smooth and quick. I've also heard this is an issue for some other classes as well. This is a big issue as being locked into each ability's full animation ruins the grinding experience as well as PVP. I hope this can be fixed as soon as possible so I can go back to playing the class I love.

I fell the same too , and looks like Nature's Trable si bugged , dosen deal dmg like intendet , it was ouhr hights dmg skill, now si lower that Wailing wind + Flow:Tempest
This issue spans multiple classes/specs from my observations thus far.
Not too sure what the relation between the hit count and animation linkage is in the code, bit since hit count reduction certain skills are notably slowed down when chaining causing a whole host of issues in pve/pvp.
I've placed a ticket about it, but I would urge others to do so as well on top of posting in forums. This is a major issue that should not be left unaddressed.
PA needs to do a remaster of all class attacks and animation flow. The DR patch made everything janky and the new Dosa character, post patch, with smooth and lovely animation flows, makes that clear.
Ye... Shai also feels oddly slower compared to before.

Having seen some youtube vids comparing pre and post patch it seems some classes lost 10% or more animation speed when on high fps. (While on low fps we should all have gained animation speed, so this change was a buff to low end systems and a nerf to high end systems basically)
I dont know if this is what you guys are describing or if theres more issues

We are talking about a number of issues but I was primarily talking about the inability to cancel animations post patch, some classes (like awakening ranger) have very clunky animations to begin with and without the ability to animation cancel anymore it feels terrible and very slow to play now.
100% agree, though I have to highlight some stuff regarding the state of Awakening Ranger. We are:
1. Squishier than ever and Super Armor is somehow weaker than pre-patch (I lose 50% of my HP being in a fight for 10 seconds because pretty much every iframe is SA-iframe)
2. Unable to do damage (I could not even full combo a Maegu or a Maewha and, contrary to popular belief I, pre-patch, couldn't kill a 720 Awk Warrior in one combo with my own 293 AP. Now it is next to impossible to combo one, along with the majority of classes in this game, even near my own gear score.)
3. Unable to CC people 75% of the time (Grab, Knockdowns, Knockbacks, Floats... everything is resisted. Even my Cold Blade knockdown gets resisted more times than its successes)
4. Collisions are broken, resulting in even less damage (Rushing Wind clips through people almost every single time. It's basically not even viable anymore for a combo. Wailing Wind and Nature's Trembles were already gutted in damage, Elven Rage gutted as a whole... and we can't even do Rushing Wind in a combo anymore. The majority of our combo damage is gone when the whole point of our class is to play for peels and dueling)
The majority of Awakening Ranger mains have quit or re-rolled because it is legitimately unplayable. A brand new Succession Maegu can slide around throwing out random protected damage skills and still out-frag and out-damage a skilled Awakening Ranger in all areas of PvP, it's even great in duels. Having one pixel of our foot at the edge of an AOE kills us in Super Armor. Awakening Ranger is completely unplayable in Node War, Open World, and Arena of Solare. Large-scale, small-scale, dueling... there is no point in playing this class anymore. It used to be meh in low-tier node war, gross but playable if you played it right in higher-tier node wars, and alright in Arena of Solare, but now the class is so garbage that there's no point in even trying to work with it in any area of PvP.
This damage nerf was absolutely pointless and only called for by people who do not understand the premise of the class. Too many people think that their classes, good in many other areas of PvP and having their own different purposes, should somehow be able to win a duel against a class only good for dueling and now, as a result of this incompetence, the class is unable to be played anywhere at all. We already were the squishiest class in the game and have never been able to SA-trade, and we have nowhere near enough movement to chase most classes in the game (especially every class released since Drakania). Every patch regarding Awakening Ranger has been a nerf in the past three years. What was the point of taking away the last redeeming qualities of our class? What's an iframe if you die in the SA part of each animation before the iframe even activates?
By no means am I asking for our class to half-combo people (although I can already name a few that can half-combo while staying protected and having more movement than nearly all the classes in the game), instead I request for PA to just restore our place in PvP. The power-creep of newer classes has already slowly been killing our class, but this last patch has killed Awakening Ranger completely. I will die on this hill when I say Awakening Ranger was one of the most balanced classes in the game. It had its short-comings and it had its strengths. High combo damage was balanced out by lack of SA-trading ability, the amount of iframes were balanced out by lack of HP, and the range was balanced out by low movement abilities with high stamina costs. Just because a class counters another or is better in one area of PvP than another does not mean that it is broken, so long as it has its short-comings elsewhere.
WHAT WE NEED:
- Bring back our ability to do combo-damage by fixing our animations, collisions, and overall damage numbers
- Strengthen our Super Armor so that we can actually play the game. It was okay pre-patch, but now it's just too weak. With so many uncancellable SA-iframes that are REQUIRED for movement, we cannot be losing over 1,000 HP every time someone looks at us in these animations.
We do not want to be locked to a cosmetic-only class.

Me too. Eveyone should submit a ticket. The state of things is a sham.
